that aired here just last night.
i only saw a few parts of it, and found it kind of amusing.

the guy hosting it was kind of annoying, it seemed like he was just turning everything michael jackson said into something bad. like:
"I like the art here"
"Does that mean you want to HAVE SEX WITH IT??!"

i didn't see the whole show though, so maybe it wasn't all like that.

Has anybody seen this BBC documentary?

ITV, and yes. Crazy stuff.

But y'know... I was looking for a decent reason for his craziness... and all we got was "Daddy didn't love me, and I had to go on stage"

Parental issues. How standard. Amplified by fame, yeah... but still. Who DOESN'T have parental issues now-a-days?

And did you see his little 12 year old friend? That's not normal. The kid was quite CLEARLY a starstruck little misguided soul, undoubtedly loving the whole "neverland" deal.

Amazing that the guy got him to admit to having his nose cut off because his dad told him it was big when he was young. Michael Jackson, admitting to having surgery because he has deep issues with his appearance? So we all knew that... but he actually said it himself. Amazing.

[edited post - Libel and such]

Editing for political correctness isn't as easy as you'd think you know... and is the whole surgery thing not also technically libel? Gawd... Legal stuff... how complex. Could there not be some sort of disclaimer that say's I've to be held legally responsible for my comments? Just incase Michael happens to be browsing the forums... or something... and stumbles across all of these blatant lies about his surgery / sexuality.

Oooh. I feel cheeky.

[/edited post]

I did'nt watch it but i heard about him letting kids sleep in his bed!!! That sounded perverted!

If that's the one that was on last night, then it was actually on ITV 1.🙂 and yeah, myself and my hubby watched it just out of curiousity then anything else as we are not fans of his.

We went from feeling sorry for him, what with the abuse he suffered from his father, and the fact that he really didn't have any childhood to speak of to wondering just how much of the *real* truth he was telling - his face has changed alot just by *going through adolescence*!

Also, his obsession with children - I'm hoping that stems from his own lack of childhood, as he truly seems to be on the same level with kids, and certainly does not want to grow up - he seems to seriously believe that he will live forever.

His behaviour with his own children, well, whilst I can understand him wanting to protect them from the public and paparazzi, he just seemed totally oblivious to them at times i.e. the trip to the zoo! Also, when feeding 'Blanket' his latest child - his behaviour seemed extremely worrying - very nervous and hyper!

I'd like to think that his affection for children is innocent and that he merely wishes to give out all the love that he never saw as a child, but I'm sure alot of parents like myself understandably find his behaviour a little disturbing.

[...I have to find a way to make THIS post politically correct... Oh well - odd officiality it is then.]

It was all like that.

But technically... I think Michael Jackson DID want to perform unnatural acts which may (or may not) be sexual with standard household objects and/or personages. Well, if it was 12 years old anyway (or, perhaps older and/or younger. No one's judging).

Well to be honest I'm undecided... He's either:

1. A person who may or may not be a paedophile who may or may not want to do things with children. And crazy.
2. A person who may or may not be a "child at heart", who may or may not be homosexual, and therefore prefer males to females which is a valid life choice. Oh, and CRAZY.
3. Really sincere about it not being a sexual thing, honestly just wanting to feel the love and closeness and unite the world. And OFF HIS GOSH-DARNED NUT!

[Heehee... it's FUNNIER now. But the question is - is it SUITABLE and above all LEGAL? Moderate me, friends!]

Allegedly homosexual, thankyou. Which is a valid life choice

It's probably all been twisted and warped by the media.

Much like his face may or may not have been twisted and warped by surgery 😉

Wow, you guys saw it already? Here in America, we don't get to see it until Thursday night. ABC keeps showing the preview for it. He kind of looks like he's out of it in the previews. I'm a big fan of his music, but his personal life seems troubled. Anyway, I'll post more after I see it on Thursday night. 😛 😛

I never liked him, but the documentary made me feel some compassion towards him.

He seems like a very nice man, or more a very nice child, because the main coclusion I got, was that he was still a child inside. I didn't see to much sexual potential in the whole thing ... if it thunders, kids want to sleep with their parents in bed, but what if these kids don't have parents???

Anyway, he may have lied a couple of times about the surgery of his face, but that was innocent, out of embarresment maybe, but as he is still a child at heart, I can forgive.

On the whole, the documentary was very moving, very touching, I have mixed feeling about him, on one hand I feel sorry for him, because of his childhood and because of what the press does, on the other hand, I think he's in his ignorance is pretty happy!

gay as in punk bitch....not as in sexual preference...i'm really surprised by the amount of people who think that i'm talking about sexual preference...

itds was on here last night too and we were talking about it at work today (not bludging at all i tell you)
and as normal as it is for a parent to have their own child(ren) in their bed (some cultures think its WAY odd if they dont sleep with you) and aas normal as it is for kids/friends to sleep in the same bed for sleepovers and comfort and stuff, it is fairly odd that a fourty four year old man has sleepovers with children, let alone has them in his bed (even if he supposedly sleeps on the floor) like AS IF hes michale jackson, hed just get someone to make up another bed in the room

and besides the man CAN lie, hello 'ive only had two operations on my face' yeh, this year maybe.

well all i can see is that my children will never EVER be going anywhere near Neverland, and what the hell is with calling your estate Neveerland? doesnt Disney have issues with that?

It seems that this documentary may stir up a heap more trouble for Michael Jackson. I found this 'News Item' on my welcome page, when I logged onto AOL earlier.

JACKSON DOCUMENTARY MAY LEAD TO POLICE PROBE

MICHAEL Jackson may face a police investigation because of the ITV documentary watched by millions of Britons on Monday night.

Authorities in California will be scrutinising Martin Bashir's 90-minute programme after the pop star admitted inviting young children to sleep in his bed.

"We'll be watching the programme with interest," said a spokesman for the Santa Barbara District Attorney, whose authority covers Jackson's Neverland ranch.

Millions of US viewers are expected to watch the documentary when it is broadcast tomorrow night on the ABC network, which paid £3.5million for the rights.

Living With Michael Jackson attracted a UK audience of 15 million, who saw the singer holding hands with Gavin, 12, a cancer sufferer.

Gavin told Bashir that he had slept in Jackson's bed while the singer slept on the floor.

The singer said: "I have slept in a bed with many children ... Why can't you share your bed? The most loving thing to do, is to share your bed with someone.

"When you say "˜bed', you're thinking sexual. They make that sexual. It's not sexual; we're going to sleep. I tuck them in."

Santa Barbara's DA is Thomas Sneddon, who investigated allegations of child abuse levelled at the star by Jordy Chandler in 1993.

"Jackson has not been cleared," said Sneddon at the time and Jackson admitted he made an £18million settlement with the Chandler family in order to avoid a "drawn-out thing on TV like OJ (Simpson)".

About that kid, there's a good change his parents made him lie for the money!

yeah i watch some of it
what is the point of him putting his baby out the the window he is so stupid!

Very mixed towards him, he seems seriously disturbed and oly cos hes famous hes been allowed to get away with it, altho judging from what anya posted maybe not!

Soulgasm, watch the language I should edit your posts but for now they shall stay...

Anyway, the documentry last night.... I believe that he is trying to live a childhood through these kids and as long as these kids are enjoying themselves then yes, let him be himself, strange though he may be.

I don't believe he has it in him to hurt a child physically and because of his fame and his wealth, people and the press view him as an easy target, there was almost somthing child like about him throughout the documentry....

Put it this way, we didn't see the whole picture, we saw what ITV wanted us to see... they spent months with him apparently and the bit with the feeding of the child, the reporter bloke seemed to be attacking him with questions about his children, that's bound to put anyone on edge.... who knows how many nasty questions were asked before those ones...

He invited them in and at times they were nassssssty in the way they approached the questions... it's shameful.

And now he's going to be attacked for trying to put himself across in a better light.... he was so protective of those children that came to neverland and I still say no he would not hurt the children in his care.... or those that go to neverland, it's not in him.. .that's what I see.

as for this lawyer who read the transcript and passed judgement before SEEING the actual documentry, that's disgusting... oh yes I made money out of Jackson before, lets do it again to boost my dwindling career.
