Logging in

I have disabled my computer from remembering my password, so I have to enter my username and password and log in whenever I visit the site. So it's a bit tedious to be told I'm not logged in when I had to log in to get on the site. Logging in two, three or four times gets a bit of a bind after a while.
Why do I have to keep logging in?

I only have to log in if I want to view new notifications. But I think only for quotes or mentions. I don't have to log in for rep comments. I don't know if this is normal. It started a few month ago. But it's not annoying or anything.

Well if you're not checking the box to stay logged in, it will time you out after so long a time.

Also, there is a difference between www.buffy-boards.com and buffy-boards.com, so if you go from one to the other it will ask you to log in again.

Could also be a cookie problem on your computer. You might try clearing your cookies, closing your browser, and starting again.

If it's really bothering you I would check the box, and then log out when you're finished using the site.

I didn't know about the other reasons for clicking the box, as it says ' remember me '.
By not having my password automatically remembered and when there has been a site problem. It was of benefit to remember my password.
