Can someone help me with some information?
I've been hearing for some time about this Angel graphic novel called Long Night's Journey. Anyone read it?
People say it has a credit on it somewhere of Joss Whedon as co-writer.
When I check it out at Amazon it lists Christopher Golden as the writer, but there's no writer credit on the cover of the actual book they show.
The way I hear it everytime I hear anyone talk about the book, they say it's by Brett Matthews, then co-written by Joss Whedon.
In what universe does Brett Matthews get top billing over Joss Whedon, I don't know.
Also any review I've ever read tells me the art has a little bit that's interesting, but the writing totally sucks. I don't see how Joss could be active in something like that.
Is this one of those cases like the IDW comics, where the people involved want to insinuate an active participation between themselves and Joss, but Joss doesn't seem to know he was so instrumentally involved?
Also, is there something in that story that says the gypsy curse wasn't meant for Angel? Was it really meant for a more powerful vampire, or something like that?
