Hello fellow Buffy&Angel fans!
I am so happy to have found such an active Buffy community, and cannot wait to get to know you all!
Bit about myself, I have been a Buffy fan since 5th grade and I'm now a freshmen in college and still love the show to death. Buffy was the main inspiration for my decision to major in writing, as Whedon has inspired me to write my heart out. I'm minoring in art, so working hard on becoming a better artist, and practicing with the wonderful Buffy cast. 🙂
Beside that I have an internship working with a Dressage horse trainer, riding is my other passion in life. It's pretty much eat,sleep,Buffy,ride. ANd class, ugh, but I try and forget that one.
But enough about me, just to try an get to know you all a bit, here's a few questions I am curious about for any members who wish to reply.

Something you learned from the show?
Did your family or friends think you were crazy as well?(lol, my family has finally accepted it)

Favorite Buffy Quote? Way too many. "You know what they say about payback? Well, I'm the bitch."
Something you learned from the show? You don't appreciate what you have till it jumped off a tower to save your arse.
Did your family or friends think you were crazy as well? Oh god, my brother calls me a nerd all the time. As he plays WoW.
Favorite Villain? Dark Willow.
As for fanart, I make some often, I'll post it later when there's more.

That's so cool that you've been a fan for so long! Wow. I just discovered Joss' fantastic shows and his equally fantastic fandom about five years ago.

Ooh, a writing major! I'm majoring in English (with a concentration in Advanced Composition and Rhetoric) because my college doesn't offer writing. : D

Not crazy. They knew me too well. Took me years to convince my older sister to watch the show but once she did she really enjoyed it. As she did with Firefly.

What can I say, I've learned so much, that's why I love it. Because of the Bangel I know what love is, how hard can be, and how it never stops. And Buffy herself gave me the strenght to be a better girl 😀

Yeah, and they still do. I was 6 and a half, 1 grade, when I started with Buffy, and my family thought it was cute back then, but now everyone thinks I'm a little crazy.

- Life, love, friendship, sense of humour. Oh, many things.

Did your family or friends think you were crazy as well?
- There're 2 friends that have borrowed my BtVS DVDs. I thought they're gonna talk to me about it like we're fangirls. But no, nothing ever changed.
And my parents have just known I love BtVS about 3 months ago even I always watched it at home everyday for like 3 years ago. But never mind, I have you guys here to talk about BtVS. 🙂

Favorite Villain?
- Can't choose between The Mayor and Glory.
 
Favorite Buffy Quote? Oh my gosh, there are too many! One that will always stick out in my mind and still makes me laugh thinking about it, "Buffy: Spike what are you doing here? 5 words or less! Spike: Out for a walk.......bitch."
Something you learned from the show? Everything I need to know about life! 🙂
Did your family or friends think you were crazy as well? My family is ok with it, but my friends think I'm a loonie.
Favorite Villain? Caleb. Nathan Fillion! I loved the mayor though too. They can tie.

Thanks for the awesome welcome everyone! Lovin' the quotes and takes on favorite villains! I have to say, I learned a lot from the show, considering I watched it at such an impressionable age, whether that's good or bad... lol.

And I think your idea of questions are way creative!

1.My favorite Buffy quote changes a lot. *A lot.* These days I'm liking "No friends, no weapons, no hope. Take all that away and what's left?/ Me." by Angelus/Buffy in Becoming Pt2
2. Truth be told, most of my life lessons are from the show. And they're all things I know I knew, but Buffy, ironically enough, made them real. The overall lesson: Demons can be slayed (slew?)
3.My friends and family thought I'd grow out of it, but by now they've learned to deal. They role their eyes when I connect... everything back to Buffy and I think they get a little scared when I can pick out a certain scene or quote and give you the title, season, and ep. number
4. My fav Big Bad is without a doubt Dark Willow. What an awesome chick! But I also really like the Mayor.

Btw, the fanart here is *great*! I'm not nearly talented enough to have any, but the stuff here is way awesome.
