I checked ebay, and I found a seller who was selling the complete 26 comic set for 100, I talked him down to $70. Still sounds pricey, but I think it'll be worth it.

What would you be willing to pay?
 
Absolutely nothing, LOL. I don't think they're worth the paper they're printed on. Sorry, I'm not a comics fan.

But I did think there were more than 26 issues out at this point? Isn't the season up to #37, #38?

$70 is too much for just the first 26. I like to have the volumes. I bought the first 30 comics in volume form for only $40. 😛
 
gah. im not a fan of comics either, but i need more buffy, if its even worth it.

i thought it was too high of a price too. ill pass >_<
 
Check eBay and Amazon. Amazon usually has the volumes on sale. I bought most of mine through Amazon. Also, you do know there is a comic store like 15 minutes away from you right? They have all the issues that have come out so far.

EDIT: If you're not into comics, and you love Buffy, then you might get upset with s8 lol. I know it has disappointed me a lot so yeah.
 
If collecting the individual comics is your thing then go for it.

But I reckon that early in the new year we'll see some spanky hardback collectors editions.

I'll doubt we'll see it early, first I think they'll probably release the last TPB, let it sell, and then give definite news on the hardcover(s).
Get the TPBs, or wait for the hardcovers. A few of the TPBs have a few e-comics that weren't printed, so you might as well get those, instead of the single issues.

I'd suggest buying the first and maybe second volume and see if you like it. I didn't fall in love with the comics until the second volume.
