Lorne vs. Sweet

Among Friends gave me an idea, Lorne should have some type of battle against Sweet (red demon from "Once More With Feeling"), maybe Lorne could kill him by beating him in a sing-off.

Sweet all the way... that guy was awesome. Easily the coolest looking demon... and those dance moves were memorizing; it was like the music was flowing through him from his hands flowign to his feet.

Lorne is awesome come on , that high pitch thing can blow your head off plus hes so much more snazzy than sweet.

Sweets pretty good with the singing and the dancing but Lorne can read people much better x
 
all sweet would do is ask Lorne for a quick dance, of course Lorne would jump at the chance... and before you know it Ka-BOOM!

Hotness wouldn't really play a major part of the fight right?
I think they're about the same strength, it just depends on who's quicker. I wouldn't know.
But, if anything goes wrong, Lorne still always has the option of shooting Sweet in the back 😉

I believe he shot Lindsey while looking at him so not really "in the back." but hey, the Tiny Texan had it coming. Nobody insults Doyle and gets away with it.

Well, it was a figurative back. And, the Tiny Texan had nothing coming. He was good. Angel wanted him :p
Lorne would totally win. I mean, what can Sweet do? Dance around? Yeah, well, that doesn't do anything, unless he gets Lorne to dance somehow. But Lorne can just hold a really high-pitched tone long enough to make Sweet's head explode and the battle is over.
 
Lol, i cant even believe this is a contest. I think a lot of this stems from peoples love of Lorne (which, i agree, hes a great character), but in a fight hes seriously got nothin 'cept maybe a gun.

I always figured sweet as essentially Satan of his own dimension. I mean, he had the power to take out whoever he wants, he would have taken Dawn against Buffy's will if it wasnt for the fact that Xander admitted he summoned him (or lied if you want to take that point of view). Sweet did what he pleased, he sat back doing jack all as Buffy damn near killed herself were it not for spike coming in. He had COMPLETE power over people, whoever he chose without them being able to fight back!!

Not only that... but he had MOVES... i remember watching OMWF for the first time, searching the internet half way though for who the actor was cause i wanted to see more of this. Was totally mesmorizing so yea.... Sweet im afraid... all Lorne has is a the power to sing at high pitch and read people, but considering Sweet has total power over all, hes no match. Any argument with this is more about your love of Lorne and wanting him to come out on top imo.

Lorne can sing in a high enough pitch to break glass, but he can also crack jokes while decapitated, read and sometimes rewrite peoples' destinies, and survive having his brain drilled into.

Hotness is ALL it is about. Remember that the only method of killing Sweet has is spontaneous combustion? Now that's what I call hot.

I gotta say lorne, his goregous singing and the fact that he'd have A.I behind him. Who would sweet have? 'cause I think they're about the same with snazzy dressage

Correction, W&H made Lorne huge by removing his sleep. Buffy's cute little jig wouldn't be much of a jig once she burned to death from the inside within about 10 seconds... hmmm lol

How good will that be when hes burnt to a crisp by essentially the God of another dimension? And last time i checked, if your burnt to a crisp from the inside, its not likely your gonna care what people are doing to the ashes once known as your head.

I imagine if Lorne let out his high pitched cry, Sweet would match him with an even more twisted note that would harmonize with Lorne's and effectively knock them both out. They'd wake up piled on top of each other and decide to be cuddle buddies.
 
Sweet would win, he's a better singer and alls Lorne would have to do is read him and he would probably explode from Sweet's evilness!
