Putting this costume together for Dragon*Con (September 3-6). Having trouble finding the right... everything. Finding similar horns and kinda~ish corset dresses, but nothing close enough. Any help (on any of the costume) would be mucho appreciated! From tights to horns, and beyond...

Well if you could find the fabric you could look into having someone make you one... 🙂 I Googled for you and came up with nothing. 🙁

Costuming Update

for those of you who may care about the costuming endeavors...

Ooh! I put in the episode the other day and realized... I had been searching for the wrong thing! D: Based on this picture (I guess because of the lighting?), it appears as though Fred is wearing tealish tights (which I did think odd to begin with) and that her lingerie deal was a golden color with black lace overlay... It is in fact not. I'd never been so happy to search for a week for something and not find it (since it would've been the wrong something)! 😛 Turns out it's one layer, just a printed fabric... so I found something fun that I think should work nicely! It's not exact, but I think it definitely conveys the appropriate feel... Not to mention, it's a really gorgeous corset, so I won't mind it one bit outside of 'for costuming sake.' 🙂
OH-- and so far so cheap.🙂 I expected to spend around $40 just for the corset/chemise (main costume piece), but so far only around $45 on everything I have.
Found her exact thigh highs and some long satin gloves, as well as some bull horns in the perfect shape to attach to a headband and spray sparkle-red.
I think I'm going to let the costume slide a little bit on the shoes, as Dragon*Con in those heels will Kill. ...and I'm no monster. ;-D
...Now really all that's left is finding the right makeup to go green with...

Good to hear that you're managing to get the costume together. I would love to see the finished product when you're done! I haven't really seen anyone dressed up as Lornette before, but it's a great idea!
