Lost Girl TV Show

I happened to stumble upon this show when I was flicking through the channels. In the UK were up to Series 2 and episode 3 is due to air on Thursday. I was wondering if anyone else on the board watched the show.

Even though I've only seen one episode I do think its something I could get into. The show, from what I've read up on it, reminds me of the book series called ''Merry'' by L.K.Hamilton.

I'm really hoping they show series 1 again, if not on the Syfy channel then hopefully the Horror channel. I'd love to watch it from the start.
 
I watched the first ep.... Didn't care for it much. It looks like it might be cool for some, but not me.
 
I really like it.

In my experience, watching the pilot episode and then thinking I don't like it, is not really giving the show a chance. So I usually try watch first 5 episodes or so.

I love Kenzie.haha.

I know what you mean, it is a little bit along the lines of True Blood in that the shows not shy about their actors showing a bit of skin 🙂

And I love Kenzie too. I've been looking for clips on youtube since I've missed series one and she comes across as such a cool character!
 
Keep in mind Lost Girl is a Canadian series(it airs on Showcase, which-considering that it's squarely in the sci-fi/fantasy realm-seems to be out of place; Space(basically, a less sucky version of SyFy)would be the more logical place for it to land). They're a bit more free to do more risque stuff than, say, broadcast TV is(even in Canada, there are limits on what you can do).

The GOOD news is Lost Girl's already been greenlight for a third season(this while they're still in the midst of their second season)in Canada.

Me, I'm waiting for the DVDs to come out. Alas, the show comes on too late for me to see.
 
Oh I didn't know this was based on Merry Gentry because I don't read that one, but cool. I actually just finished episode 1 and I like it, I think it had potential. Especially with the (lesser) hottie from Underworld Awakening in it.

Oh no. [MENTION=2230]Jules[/MENTION] said it reminded her of "Merry Gentry" books.

But I think I read somewhere when season 1 first started that the show is based on a comic. I could be wrong.

I hope you keep watching Lost Girl.

I may try it again next Monday to see if I like it any better. It does come on right after one of my favorite shows, after all. 😉

Yea, sorry, I just meant that it reminded me of the book series by L.K.Hamilton.

I'm glad that this season 2 is going to run for 22 episodes and that there's going to be a third season.

Even though I've missed season 1 I do find that I like the relationship between Bo and Dyson 🙂
