I cant seem to find a thread about this show thats not in the Sunnydale Cemetery.

Anyone else love this show? Who's been watching Season 3? Anyone got theories?

I watch the show. And I can honestly tell you that I HATE it.

I really don't know why I keep watching it. I guess to see what happens at the end (which I have a feeling is this season). I really hate their tagline for the next week's episode: "Get all the answers to your questions" Hah. That's a complete lie.

I think the writers wrote themselves into a corner and had nowhere to go with the storyline, so they inserted some bizarre things, just because they were out of ideas. Hello, polar bears? Dinosaurs? Killing Black Smoke?

I have to agree I got pretty annoyed at the end of Season 2 because instead of answering things, they just create more questions. And Im pissed they killed Ana Lucia.

Im still watching because despite it being extremelly annoying that they dont revel anything, I want to find out what happens. And Ive been watching it from the start. Oh im also annoyed when they reveled that the numbers wont end up having an explanation! Its one of the shows biggest mysteries!

I thought they said they had about 5 seasons worth of material? I doubt its going to get cancelled, it has too much of a huge fanbase and great ratings.

In fairness, Michele Rodriquez, only agreed to a one year contract/character when she asked to be on the show.
The mystery is boring to me now. I was intrigued the 1st season, some of the 2nd season, but I don't care anymore. I still actually like most of the characters. I like the flashback structure, the way they reveal things in reverse. I think Season 3's getting more interesting now since it's back from hiatus.

It was a gamble - creating a show as essentially one giant arc that would be 5 years long or however long the show's gonna last...
 
I think even if it doesnt last much longer, it was majorly sucessful in keeping people hooked on it...(esp people like me who dont want to watch it but just has to find out what happens).

Also i agree with you, first half of Season 3 wasnt that great. But now its getting better.
 
I love lost. STILL think its awesome, REALLY like season 3, and thought the start of it was AWESOME! We'll get some answers eventually! you've held out for nearly 3 seasons, surely you can handle two more 😛
 
^ Oh yeah i dont plan to stop watching anytime soon. I wonder if it will make it to 5 seasons or not...

Oh me too, I think we are the only two people who liked her, heh.

I've been watching Lost since always.. I honestly don't care too much about the whole mystery bit, I just like the characters (well some of them) and some of the storylines.. I recently became a Kate/Sawyer shipper, like years after everyone else was...

Im not really into shipping with the character, i dont really care who is with who. Sawyer annoys me sometimes tho.
 
Oh believe me he annoys the hell out of me too. I actually didn't like him at all until recently.. But I guess it's that whole bad boy thing, lol.. Kate/Sawyer.. Buffy/Spike.. Veronica/Logan (Veronica Mars, of course)..
 
I do think that Kate and Sawyer go together better than kate and jack tho, so i guess that makes me a kate/sawyer shipper.

I was never very fond of veronica/logan, but then went logan was with parker, it made me insanely jealous for veronica.
 
I love Lost. I didn't watch first season, but some people on here convinced me to so I started watching in Season 2. Now I have Seasons 1 and 2 and am of course watching Season 3.

I may like it so much though because I take it to a whole new level. I follow The Lost Experience, and am a frequenter of Lost Easter Eggs and Lostpedia. I am the first person on the net to report the Dharma logo on the sharks (which has been confirmed in a podcast that is was NOT a production joke...but put on there for a reason...)

So yeah..HUGE fan. 🙂

Logan/Parker, huge mistake, just wrong...

I used to love Charlie, but he's like almost never on the show these days. That's the bad thing with Lost. They have so many characters, and since each episode focuses on one character, some can be gone for weeks..
 
I wonder how they're going to solve the Charlie "Death premonition" problem. I heard he's been told he wont be back next season...so he dies then?

Hey, maybe they'll ship em off in the submarine... I'm sure they've got another massive piece of military equipment just lying around.....
