Locke blew up the submarine, I doubt they've got another laying around...but then again, this is lost so they probably do. Ben said that if the sub was gone, people would freak out coz that was the only way off the island....I guess Micheal and Walt are both lost at sea then.
 
I got up to season 3 ep 8 or 9 before the Virgin/Sky spat (don't mention the word Virgin in our house - they have been utterly useless in every dealing we have had and so far seem utterly incompetant, regardless of who is right or wrong in the argument, their customer service has been crap)

As I don't have a video only a HD recorder I can't even get friends with Sky to pass it on to me!

So - yeah - pretty miffed actually.
 
I've 2 have been a victim to the virgin media hoo har! I feel your pain 🙂 I getting 24 withdrawls! But i couldnt live without my weekly fix of lost, so i've been watching them online!

I heard the guy that plays michael doesnt want to come back, and the guy that played walt has aged so much that it wouldnt really fit if he returned (as in the show its only been weeks since they left)

the last ep was awesome! Juliet is amazing. I'm scared whether to post spoilers or not cos there was a warning in the first post but i'd hate to spoil anything for anyone...
 
Oh I just saw the two most recent episodes. I though I'd love the Kate ep cause, I like Kate, but it wasn't that good. Last episode was great though, I really like Juliette, and I love the fact that we don't know what she's up to and we can't really understand why she's doing what she does. But at the same time it feels like she has to have a real reason for what she does...

Really want to see the next episode now.
 
Damnit, Bloody Jack stopping Juliet from answering anything! No offence to Jack lovers, but wasnt it a bit of an ass of him to say "Isn't it enough that I trust her?"

Blah, there weren't anymore answers really, except a bit with Claire. Outta interest...for people who have heard my voice before, is my accent as thick/strong as Claires?

Lets hope there are more answers in the next ep.
 
This last episode was really good. I've been a little ambivalent towards Juliette, but I have to say I really find her character interesting now, can't wait to find out more.

I totally agree, he was being a bit of an ass, but that's who he is.. hm.
 
Im being dangerous coming on this thread because im in the uk so we're far behind you lot!

love lost love all the twists love kate and sawyer.

I don't see how they can change charlies fate tho unless they make him die then come back to life by Jack or somethin, otherwise that the vision guys gunna have to follow him around everywhere for good
 
And, apperantly I'm wrong, as a preview said "Don't miss the final five epsidoes leading to the fabulously wonderful season finale."

Darn, now we'll have to keep watching it.
 
I *love* Lost. It's a brilliant show. It's nowhere near jumping the shark, IMO, and while it was getting a little dull for a while it's DEFINITELY picking back up. It's such a fun show right now, I'm slowly getting interested in all the characters once again, for a while I was hating them all. I'm into the mystery, although not so much I constantly think about it or try to figure it out.

Can't WAIT for the finale.

And of course it will get a fifth season, season four is confirmed already and it's still #1 in the demos so expect it to get a fifth season. After which...I want it to end, simply because I think five seasons is pretty much a perfect amount of seasons for most shows.
 
I think Lost is a good show. The writers aren't idiots. There's no way you can sustain interest in a mystery for five years. I think they realise this. So while it's the mystery aspect that gets you initially hooked and it's not something that you can truly get invested in, that's why they focus on the characters, because ultimately that's what people care about. It's the characters that you root for, that you invest in. With that I think they do it quite well.

Saying that, I'm not sure how bothered I would be by any of the characters dying, but I'm an odd duck.

I must say though, I'm actually starting to really like Jack. TV now, seems to focus so much on the rule breakers, the badasses, too much I think. I find Jack's nobility to be quite refreshing, even if it makes him do stupid things at times. More and more I'm beginning to find that interesting.

Characters like Sawyer, and Locke, whom I loved in season 1 are starting to bore me, in fact annoy me at times.

And I'm liking Sayid(or however it's spelt) a lot more. It's true, he seems to be the only one that asks the right questions, and knows what should be done. Pity he doesn't seem too get much screen time.

Desmond is pretty interesting too.
 
Jack is my favorite out of all of them. I don't really care to much about the other characters. Sure, their backstories are somewhat interesting, but Jack has always been my absolute favorite!

I do sometimes think though about the two people that were bit by the spiders and buried alive! I feel sorry for them.
 
Was it just me, or was the last episode really boring? I think if i missed the entire episode, i could still work out what was going on. (except for maybe the last bit).

You mean Desmond's episode? I *loved* it, the flashbacks were a bit unnecessary but I still found them intriguing and I loved Charlie's "death" scene. It wasn't as excellent as "One of Us" but I still really enjoyed it.
 
yeah i liked Charlie's "death" scene too. But i guess i'm just not a fan of the desmond storyline too much. I liked Sawyer in this episode too. His mix tape hehe 😀

I agree, not really a fan of Desmond, but Sawyer was awesome 😀 I thought it was an ok episode though, but not as good as the ones before this one.
 
I actually liked the last eppy, there were some good easter eggs/clues in it, and I am a Des fan. LOVED Sawyer this eppy, great humour! 😀
