I just had a horrible day at work. 🙁 It was non-stop busy, I have a trainee at the moment so there's that added stress, and then some idiotic customers.
I work in a bureau de change and tonight some guy came in wanting to change $2500 into £. I took the notes in and immediately spotted that they were very likely fakes. I told the guy that I couldn't take them in because I didn't think they were right.
He started to get really abusive and accused me of not serving him because of his skin colour (he was black). Started yelling at me and saying he'd call security if I didn't serve him. (to which I said, go ahead and I'll ask them to get you to leave the shop, you're being abusive towards me.)
Anyway he was a really horrible customer and it was very difficult to keep my cool. But I'm not going to risk having to pay £1500 out of my pocket if the notes were, as I strongly suspected, fake.
I just needed to get that rant out somewhere!

Yesterday I got my suit for prom. It's black, and then the collar shirt and tie is purple. It looks pretty nice but I feel so goofy wearing it, I hate formal wear. 😛
Remember everyone else is in formal wear too so you're not the only one feeling goofy. You're going to look cooler than the rest since the vast majority will have gone for the traditional penguin look.
I know that prom is considered a rite of passage in North America but just relax and have fun. You're going to be with people you know in a place you're familiar with. Enjoy it and try not to make it more important than it really is.

Long weekend here this weekend 😀 So far so good! Had a great ride on my horse, we have tons to work on but that just makes me excited because when we get things right, it is awesome! Its just a matter of getting those things right all the time LOL.
Tomorrow Im visiting my pony that is out on lease and then catching up with a high school mate. Monday is more riding! And my man will be here the whole time with me 😀
I've borrowed Dollhouse on DVD from a friend so I want to sneak it on and see if my boyfriend likes it without realising its a Joss thing. I watched two episodes last night and was far more disturbed by it this time round than I was the first time, but I did really enjoy the episodes. Im glad to have a chance to watch it now without the hype to see if I really do like it.

I'm looking forward to this long weekend. Today I'm meeting up with two of my friends for lunch, tomorrow I'm going shopping for my holiday clothes (I'm not as thrilled about the shopping because I think its going to be soooo busy and I dont like shopping in crowds) then Monday and Tuesday I'm just having a lazy day 🙂

Whats everyones favourite sub from subway? I just tried the marroccan lamb with mint yogurt, NOM! I still love my chicken fillet though. We're having a big pork roast tonight so Im trying to stay away from the 6 inch chicken teryaki in the fridge 😛
The lamb with mint yoghurt sounds fantastic. I don't go to Subway much but I don't think we have that one over here. If we do then I'll give it a go. I usually go for the meatball in marinara sauce with cheese.

Mmmmm subway...I usually go for the roast chicken with lots of capcicum (I am totally obsessed with capcicum lol) lettuce, cheese and honey mustard 🙂 I like the chicken teriyaki too...damn I'm gonna have to get subway for lunch tomorrow! hehe
Fact- I used to have a Subway loyalty card with stamps from Alice Springs, Christchurch (NZ) and Bradford (England) on it.
It's ages since I went in one, though- I don't like having to make that many decisions about my food! Same with KFC- I don't go in there regularly so I don't understand what the options are- last time I went to one was a couple of months ago and what I thought was going to be a burger turned out to be a wrap because they have their own names for everything!

I don't really go to Subway that often, it's usually when me and my husband have been shopping in town and my husband gets a whiff of the place and can't resist going in! lol Being a vegetarian, I usually have the Veggie patty with, cucumber, lettuce, red onion and mayo...mmmm..... 😀
