I've just been informed by work that instead of having to work 11:30 - 7:30 tomorrow I get to do a 9 - 5 shift, which is a bonus, yay me 🙂 I'm really not a fan of shift work even though I've been doing it for 5 years now.
 
I agree, the only good thing about shift work is I miss all the rush hour traffic getting into work so it only takes me 20 minutes. Tomorrow is going to take me about 40 minutes because I'm doing a 9-5 🙁
 
For my old job I had to use a motorway, which was awful. Now I dont have to, but I pass 4 different schools on my way in and the traffic is just grid locked with parents dropping their kids off 🙁
 
Haha, I live on the same street as a primary school. Thankfully my bus comes like an hour before school starts 😛

But people drive crazy on motorways :/ At least you don't have to drive on one now! 🙂

I'm dreading going on holiday this year because you can guarantee at least one person will do something idiotic on a dual carriage way, motor way or roundabout. Pretty much everywhere really. 😛 I'm kinda glad I don't drive.

As soon as it starts to rain in Perth, the very little road sense that people do have seems to go out the window! Some people drive incredibly slow and then others get frustrated with their slowness and speed but then they cant break quick enough and skid all over the place. Its mental. I try really really hard to stay off the freeway or highways during peak hour, especially in rain, its just so dangerous!

Los Angeles is the same way! It's so ridiculous, the lightest sprinkle causes complete havoc on our freeways. At the first sight of rain news anchors start warning people to stay off the roads.The rest of the state laughs at our cities inability to drive in such mild weather.

Pardon my ignorance if I'm wrong, but don't you Angelenos people just never expect rain to fall from the sky anyways? Because when I was there in November there was a storm and it was raining and there was a lot of wind, but nowhere near a hurricane or anything. But it looked like the end of the world XD Sewers(sp?) were full and the water was coming out and onto the streets and some stores got flooded... Was it just that one time or is it like that everytime rain hits?

Someone is washing it first, damn it! After all, there are two steps. Step one: vomit. Step two: clean up said vodka. I completed the first step. I think someone else needs to step up and do their part!
 
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that if Drogyn is taking care of PartA (geddit, partay?) with the vomit then perhaps another dorm should be taking care of Part B. The vomit clean up.
 
Good to see that the discussion are back to topics I know more about, rain and vomit buckets... 😉
I'm not a huge fan of either though.
