[MENTION=11292]kittenpoker[/MENTION] - Yeah babe, he played Purple Rain 🙂 He did pretty much everything. Little Red Corvette, Cream, Raspberry Beret, etc.

I'm not a massive fan of his but I have always liked his stuff and figured it would be interesting to see him play. It was totally worth it! He puts on a great show, all very theatrical and campy - I could not stop laughing at his golden glitter pants and the glow in the dark motorcycle he rode in on for the last encore, hehehe 🙂
 
I had such a great weekend. Did some jumping on the horses on saturday, such a great feeling to jump again! I cant wait to get my horse home so I can ride when ever I want. My boyfriend got some great video for me so I could watch and see how I am riding since I cant get lessons just yet.

Mothers day was great too. My sister and I made a huge breaky for our mum and then we spent the morning drinking champagne and playing ping pong. It was heaps of fun.

I dont even feel exhausted today really either. Usually the weekends wipe me out but I feel pretty good today, yay 🙂

Ooh [MENTION=8885]nightshade[/MENTION] have you caught the bike bug too? I only have an exercise bike, so its not as fun as a real bike but Im aiming to be doing 10kms in 20mins this week... I know thats not much to hard core cyclists but I am just trying to get my fitness up from practically nothing so I can horseride a bit better.

Im happy, Im getting new internet next week!! Then I can actually look in the art threads and find a new banner, and put pics of my ponies up online. Lets just hope it actually works LOL.

Going to see the Avengers (again) with my best friend today. He needs a little cheering up, the poor is heartbroken 🙁
 
Big thunderstorm approaching my house... Lots an lots of rain and maybe even hail :S

So Anya's song "Mrs." from Selfless is now my new favourite OMWF song, and I really wish they officially released the song. It'd be nice to have on my iPod. 🙁 Darn.
 
First day "between jobs" gone down well, I have scrubbed the entire house and done loads of laundry, and still had time to spend ages on the internet. 😀

There is an 11th century church literally at the end of my back garden. When storms come from that direction it looks amazing, so I love them.
 
Long story short: Big wild fire yesterday afternoon. Part of my hometown (where I work) had to be evacuated. Low-flying water bombers and helicopters. Smoke. Fire is now contained but not out. Hubby has nasty cough from smoke inhalation.

[MENTION=9799]Taake[/MENTION] Um, ouch about the scissors. Not requiring stitches, I hope! Psst...I'm a major klutz, too! The boys are doing pretty well, though we all have colds right now. They didn't sleep too well last night, which hopefully means they'll crash tonight!
