Love 4 Zoe!!!

Zoe Washburne is my favorite television character of all time. I think she is absolutely amazing! Zoe personifies the title 'warrior woman' because she is both a warrior and a woman. Joss did an incredible job of fleshing out all of his characters. Zoe could've been nothing more than a soldier who happened to be married, but Joss gave her so many layers that she is so much more than that. I love the fact that in a single scene Zoe can go from being the tough-as-nails second-in-command to the loving, supportite wife. Another big reason I love Zoe so much is because of the actress who portrayed her. Gina Torres is an incredible actress. She is able to portray many different emotions simply with her facial expressions. She is terrific at dead-pan humor and she can kick ass in every fight scene. Gina is able to hold her own in every scene she is in, even if she merely stands in the background and looks intimidating. Anyway, I could go on forever about my love for Gina and Zoe, but I won't bore you all any longer. Have anything to add? Express your love for Gina or for the ultimate warrior woman.

Zoe's character and all the characters from Firefly for that matter were brilliant.

Although I must admit doubting the lovely Gina Torrres. In Angel Season four Jasmine was one of the character I hated the most. I felt the character was boring, plain, and I didnt think much to the actor. (bare in mind I havent seen Jasmine episodes season 4 since it first aired in the UK about 3 years ago) I was young, and stupid. my opinion of this character hasnt changed but i will watch the episodes again (they are soon to air on sky one) so my opinion should change. However, once seeing her in a random episode of Alias i happened to watch I was intrigued. She was damn cool! Then the Matrix films! I thought oh yea! that actress woman! and last christmas I was finally given perhaps the best gift of all time. Firefly the complete series. Of course I'd heard about it and been reading about it. WOW! I was sooooo impressed by her. She is amazing. In the season opoener Serenity I was immeidiatly interested in the character of Zoe. So much depth. Like you said one second shes the emotionless warrior, the next her and wash are making with the loving. she had hilarious lines and is clearly very able to deliver comedic dialogue.

So I've expressed my love for Zoe(and Gina)!
