Buffy and Angel have a love theme (Close Your Eyes), and Buffy/Riley, and Giles/Jenny. Why aren't there any other love themes for the later seasons, like Spike/Buffy or Willow/Tara?

I don't think there were ever any official "love themes" released but I do remember a specific piece of music that played a lot during Spuffy scenes.

I think there was one for Willow and Oz, and there was one for Willow and Xander when they had their little thing. Though my memory isn't so great...

In S5 or S6 or S7? I don't remember a specific piece for them, even unofficial...

According to Wikipedia,

Duncan is credited as composer for Buffy episodes 7.02 and 7.04-7.22. Memorable tracks have included:

"Chosen", Buffy and Spike's love theme, Faith and Robin's theme, and the theme of Slayer Victory (during the fight in the Hellmouth).

Here it is:

Yeah... I tend to pay attention to the music in the show a lot, and I distinctly remember hearing the same melody playing in the background of a lot of Spuffy scenes.

I always thought there was one for Spuffy? I remember finding it somewhere...maybe I can again somehow. Hmm..

But that's kind of a blanket piece for all of them. I was more wondering of a specific love theme (unless the music or a variation thereof or part of the music was in fact played during Spuffy scenes. I'll have to check once my exams are over).

I found [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PAyvQFCdNbQ"]this[/ame] on Youtube for Spuffy. It's pretty much the end bit of the Final Fight piece, apparently played when Buffy and Spike doing the hands-burst-into-flame thing. But as I said before, I'm more looking for something repeated through the Spuffy moments, or officially acknowledged specifically as their love theme.

What about Willow/Tara and Xander/Anya?

Thank you! Amazing music, amazing clip.
That piece is not called "Chosen".... It's actually "Final Fight". It's on the Radio Sunnydale soundtrack.

Interesting! Because on Duncan's official site it's called "Chosen"

I wonder if such discrepancies are caused ny marketing reasons. For an official soundtrack they come up with showy titles of the compositions, while on the official site the composer uses descriptive titles to accommodate the fans.

@Drizzlydate - thank you for that clip. Yes, looks like this is the Spuffy part of the composition.

Alas, I don't know anything about Willow/Tara and Xander/Anya love themes.

That's really weird... I have the Radio Sunnydale UK version and it's called "Final Fight"...
