Lover's walk

I absolutely Love Lover's Walk!! Seeing spike come back and rolling out of his car completely drunk!! I definatley think it's one of the best ones...but not they best! I think i prefer Choices and Doppelgangland (2 willows...who could ask for more 😀)..

Spike: We killed a homeless man on this bench. Me and Dru. Those were good times.
[chuckling] You know, he begged for mercy, and, you know, that only made her bite harder.
Buffy: I guess you had to be there.

One of the best eps of s3. I loved Spike's scene with Willow.

Spike: She wouldn't even kill me. She just left. She didn't even care enough to cut off my head or set me on fire. I mean, is that too much to ask? You know, some little sign that she cared? It was that truce with Buffy that did it. Dru said I'd gone soft. Wasn't demon enough for the likes of her. And I told her it didn't mean anything I was thinking of her the whole time, but she didn't care. So, we got to Brazil and she was... she was just different. I gave her everything. Beautiful jewels, beautiful dresses with beautiful girls in them, but nothing made her happy. And she would flirt. I caught her on a park bench making out with a Chaos Demon. Have you ever seen a Chaos Demon? They're all slime and antlers; they're disgusting. She only did it to hurt me. So I said, "I'm not putting up with this anymore." And she said, "Fine." And I said, "Yeah, I've got an unlife, you know." And then she said... she said we could still be friends. God, I'm so unhappy.
Willow: There, there.
Spike: I mean, "Friends." How could she be so cruel?

Lover's walk is definitely one of my favorite season 3 episodes. I love the comedy of pathetic Spike and his transition to inspired Spike at the end while the others are becoming more sad and alone. And of course, making faces behind Joyce was fantastic, along with his speech to Buffy and Angel. I was always sad that he wasn't more a part of season 3.

I love his voice when he says to Angel "You're not invit-ed"
And
Spike : "I'm nothing without her"
Buffy : "And I have to agree with"

It seems like Spike was already developing his attraction to Buffy even at so early stage - it's fun rewatching the series when you already know how it's gonna end - you strat noticing all little hints and clues you slept over for the first time.

I totally love final scene with Spike's departure singing along Gary Oldman's Sid Vicious' tune.

Love your banner and everything you said!
I loved Spike's scene with Willow.

Me too! Spikes scene with Willow always sort of reminds me of the scene they had after he escaped from the Initiative and couldn't bite her.
And I loved seeing the three of them fight together. I would have liked seeing that more often. And I agree, knowing what is going to happen between Buffy and Spike makes it so much more fun to watch.
And I never really liked Joyce, but her and Spike have such a cool relationship. How he's telling her the whole story, and asking for some of those little marshmallows, the guy that about a year ago tried to kill her daughter... It just cracks me up everytime.

The thing with Willow and Xander annoys me, though. I never really liked what was going on between them because I liked Willow with Oz and Xander wiht Cordelia. I still don't really understand why they had to write that into the story. But I liked how they at the end showed all of them alone. That was pretty and sad.

And has anyone noticed that when Spike flees into his car, everytime he moves you here the rinkling of bottles?

I love this episode. I love "Lovers walk" Christophe Beck too.
But I always cry at the end 'cause it's really sad. Than everybody are sad, and they have broken heart. And Buffy said to Angel that they can't be just friend and can't seem each other. It hurts me 'cause I'm Bangel fan and at moment like this I always cry.

I just love it because it shows how unique spike is as a vampire in the love he feels for drusilla. brings a lot of depth to him.

It was really sad to see the look in Buffy's eyes when Spike told Buffy and Angel that they'll never be friends. But Spike was right. He knew what both of them already knew. The difference is, He's the only one who was willing to admit it. The only one who had the guts to say it outloud. I think this is when we all knew that Spike was capable of loving someone. He knew what it felt like to be in love with someone and what it can do to you. He also knew that a relationship between a slayer and a vampire could never work. Funny how Spike ends up in angels shoes..

Grr I'm only on season 2 right now but it looks as if I'm guna have to skip ahead to watch this! Thanks guys, the bug bit me. lol.

Another part I like is when Spike wakes up in the daytime b/c he passed out from drunkenness. What a dope. lol. Vampires and alcohol do not mix. There should be a warning label on the alcohol.

"Vampires, Drink responsibly, Or you'll get your a** burned". lol.

This goes on my all time fave list, James Marsters OWNED this episode.

Who would've thought Spike's brief return would cause major drama for the Buffy, Angel and the Scoobies?

I sure didn't.

Lovelorn Spike pouring out his heart to Joyce over hot cocoa...PRICELESS!

Buffy, Spike and Angel layin the SMACKETH D0WN on some vamps...AWESOME!

Cordy and Oz catching Xander and Willow kissing...Very sad

10/10

oh dear god. it was terrible when I'd thought they'd killed Cordy.
how horrible it is to show a funeral scene right after the impale thing.

i love this ep so much, it's sad though, first time i actually felt sorry for Cordy,

and LOL at spike

Angel: Spike.
Joyce: Oh, my God. Get out of here!
Spike: Yeah. You're not invited.
Joyce: He's crazy. He'll kill us.
Spike: Not while I breathe. Well, actually, I don't breathe.
Angel: Joyce, listen to me.
Joyce: You get out of this house, or I will stake you myself.
Spike: You're a very bad man.

^^! I watched this two nights ago....loved every minute of it (except for Cordy getting impaled).

Vampires should get this one :
Don't drink and doze off...You'll get burned

Love Lovers walk. Its just the Spike show. Makes you realize just how much Spike brought to Btvs when he guest stars.
I loved this bit: Buffy(to Angel): ''NEED him?? He's probably got them tied up in the factory''
Spike: ''pfft, how thick d'ya think i am''
then later on in the ep... Buffy: ''what about the spell?'' Spike: ''sod the spell, your friends are in the factory''
LMAO

Right.

Well, all of the great scenes have been laid out already...and hey...I love every one. This episode had it all. And Spike really does steal the spotlight. I laughed through the whole thing. Well, until Cordy fell. That kinda put a damper on things. But one of my favorite lines was spoken in this episode..."I may be loves bitch, but at least I'm man enough to admit it." God I love him...
