outstanding episode, Darla's death was sad.

Boreanaz and Julie Benz had some great scenes together.

Poooooooooooor Lorne, Caritas destroyed...Yet AGAIN!

Guess Holtz will be around for a while.

like you said "outstanding episode"!
I really liked Darla in this episode!Sharing Connor's soul she was finally able to love her child and realises that she has to sacrifice herself to protect her child from her evil self!

This is one of my favorites. I loved Darla. That scene is s beautiful. Who would have thought Darla would stake herself to save her son? There was still some humanity left in her, I think. The look on Fred's face when she sees Conner for the first time is lovely.

As you say, outstanding episode. 😉

I cried when Darla staked herself. I really didn't think that she would do that -- imagine how difficult it would be. I guess her motherly instincts took over and trusted Angel with their son. I never thought Darla had the ability to give up her life for someone, but she did. Amazing episode.

Though I prefer Angel unpaired, Angel and Darla had a heartwarming relationship through those few episodes. I mean, they put aside their (very serious) past issues with each other for the greater good of their son.

Darla' final scene in the alleyway is without doubt one of Angel's finest ever moments. Heartfelt, deeply emotional and carried along by two actors doing some of their best ever work.
