Who wrote it? What does he know, or think he knows? I don't know.

People have been discussing this for a few days though. The number 1 suspect so far as a 'major death' is Willow. If that turns out to be true, will it be present Willow, or future Willow?

How could it be present Willow, or Xander? They're on the cover of # 20.

If it's not Willow, or Xander, who else qualifies as a 'major character of the TV series'. I could see Kennedy dying but would she be considered major? And anyway she also is on a future cover. Andrew? Maybe. Giles and Faith are off on their own. It seems a little late in the arc to suddenly thrust them in so one of them can be offed? Dawn's story has yet to be told. Surely they wouldn't lose her before that happens.

Well, #20 is a standalone so would it really be affected by the arc? And I thought I heard of the 'death' before; I think the only one that could 'die' would be Willow. The question of which one is where the things get interesting. Maybe that was why Willow was told not to look through the opening.

MAybe it will be future Willow that dies. Willow may look through the opening to save Buffy and together hey take on her future self.

I think she ll be unhappy with what she will become.

The way it's written up it appears to suggest the death happens as part of the Fray arc, not in the stand alone, but yeah, I guess what you suggest is possible. That would be a rip though. We wait until November 19 to see this major death, finally it comes, and no wait, they must have meant next month. Or...is this spoiler even for real. By the time it did come around, if it did nobody would be taking it seriously. Well, that could work, I guess.

Still...if the spoiler is for real, and the death really is a major one, you'd expect it as part of the big finale for the longer arc.

I like Dawn, but I seriously hope she dies. How weird does it sound?
But I really feel like she's the one. It will back up on the "a slayer walks alone", and Buffy will have lost her whole family of flesh and blood. She is alone, and it will lead to an isolated, and emotionless Buffy. An emotionless slayer, who will do nothing but fight just to avoid the silence, and the pain she carries around.

Awww, think of poor Xander. Dander hasn´t even taken off yet. No, it can´t be her (wishful thinking). Not that I´m a big Dander supporter. At least not yet. But Dawns story is far from over. It can´t stop already. And isn´t it said that Dawn is gonna play a big part during this season? Not sure I think she´s done that yet. Even if her possible death of course can be that "part".

I´m hoping for Dark Willow. Even if she has her moments I´m not that big of a fan of her. And rather her than "regular" Willow. 😉

I'm not sure who it'll be but a major character doesn't have to be one of core four, right? Didn't Joss say he would never kill off one of the four? But I suppose Dark Willow wouldn't be included in that so maybe her. Other than that I hope it isn't Dawn, I also want to know where her character's going.

I doubt it will be Dawn. We dont even know the rest of whats going on with her. ANd somehow I think she will be a big help in the end. Im banking on Dark Willow perhaps. SHes mostlikely to die if she has to fight Buffy and Fray.


If WIllow(regular one) dies Id be destroyed because she is and always will be my number one favorite character((ties with cordy though! lol))

actually Xander would be a good bet to die as well; he could try to save 'dark' (though i still dont see her as being dark this time) willow again by being all yellow crayony and her offing him this time around. Which would still not make her dark, even if she killed xander.

WHat if it was GIles who died???? I mean I dont know how exactly that he would tie in the arc but Iwas just thinking.


But anyways, I dont think darkwillow/madwoman is so evil. Maybe she set herself up to be that way only to deliver Buffy with what she needs to stop Twilight.

Wasn't there talk of a third transformation of Dawn coming? What if that transformation is.... Zombie!Dawn. Or Vamp!Dawn, for that matter...

I dont its any of the main cast members from the show. Either its going to be future Willow or Kennedy (nm it cant be her since she appears later on down the road). So I will just go with future Willow biting the dust. Its the easiest way to kill off a charecter from the show while not killing them..

Buffy/Willow/Xander/Giles/Faith/Dawn are all safe imo. Joss would never kill any of them off for good unless it was the absolute end of the franchise.

You could do the Obi-Wan-Kenobi thing with Willow. You know like the spirit of Willow continues to make appearances, guiding Buffy.
