Wow! I just had to post this! I was a big Lego fan as a kid, and I still am although I don't build stuff anymore.

In an impressive and heroic act of love for Joss Whedon's FIREFLY, Adrian Drake spent 475 hours over the course of 21 months to build a painstakingly accurate model of Serenity, arguably the true star of the series, from Lego. [...] Built from 70,000 bricks and weighing 135-pounds 61 kilograms, the model was created using Quantum Mechanics blueprints as a starting point, converting the design to Lego to make it as accurate as possible.
