ManChild on BBC America

I was just about to post a question about this. I read something in an issue of Entertainment Weekly, and it read:

August 2nd 8-10:40pm
MANCHILD (BBC America, TV-14) Buffy fans are still waiting for Joss Whedon's long promised Giles spin-off, but in the meantime, they can make do by watching Anthony Stewart Head as a devilish bachelor in this cheeky Britcom about a quartet of pushing-50 blokes. Manchild is billed as a male Sex and the City, but these four episodes prove it's more like a limey Mind of the Married Man--casually chauvinistic yet sleazily compelling. You've gotta admit it's a kick to see the usually uptight Head letting his hair (not to mention his pants) down. Bonus points for using Bryan Ferry's irresistible 1976 tune, "Let's Stick Together," as its theme song.


Problem is, I've looked on tvguide.com for the listing, but I don't see it. Why would it be in an US magazine, if it's not playing in the US? And what channel is BBC America? I'm so confused, and I'd like to watch it...so somebody please help me before it debuts in 3 days!
 
BBCAmerica is on different channels in different parts of the country. That is, if your cable company carries it. Luckily mine does. It's good to see quality British entertainment without the stiffiness of the Masterpiece Theater/Upstairs Downstairs crowd. I mean, is every Englishman a butler??? It is on at 10pm over here in Cleveland, Ohio, and the good news is that if I miss the first showing, the play it again a couple of hours later. Another good thing is that BBC usually(as with everyone else) puts the shows out on video/dvd after a couple of months of airing...except of course Red Drawf(a little inside joke there.) As for Manchild being in the same vein as Sex and the City--trust me, Manchild is more intelligent and of much higher quality than the luantic ravings of four middle-aged women in New York!
 
I can't wait to see it. It'll be so funny to see ASH in a raunchy role. I'm glad I have Qwest cable cause Cox doesn't have BBC America. One more reason to tell Clarke as to why Qwest is so much better than Cox.
 
Well, apparently in the part of New York that I am living in does not broadcast that channel. This truly blows, because I was really looking forward to watching the show. I really thought that, of all places, New York would definitely be showing it. I'm so pissed, but don't think I'm not going to see it; I'll find a way.::evil2::
