Marc Blucas in Mission Impossible 3 Talks?

The Cosmopolite Herald here says former local Pensylvania boy, Marc Blucas ("Buffy"), he used to live in Girard, is apparently in talks with superstar Tom Cruise to play a key part in the next "Mission : Impossible" film.

They say he'll be playing the brother of Ethan Hunt (Cruise), the latest member of IMF. Producing partner Paula Wagner is reportedly in talks with several young actors for this and other new parts. David Fincher is directing for a 2004 release.
 
That's interesting news. I really think that Marc is a good actor, I think he'll be good in an action film. The only thing that put me off him was that he played Riley who I was never really that keen on.
 
I have only seen him as Riley on Buffy and Scooby-Doo Fred on "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" ... I would be so mayorly cool!

Months of pre-production, three to six months of shooting, plus months of post-production to include the FX and musice et al.

Late 2005 at the earliest.

Hope Marc gets the part.

3 months preproduction? + 6 months shooting? + 3 months postproduction? = a year of work, we're now in march 2003, it could be done by march 2004!!!
 
I really really really hope he is in the film!!

I think he is a great actor and this would so benefit his career!!!

I love both 1, 2 and with Marc Blucas hopefully being in the 3rd I think it will so be my fav!!!
Him along side Tom Cruise will be a fab cast as I think they are both outstanding at what they do!!!

I really cant wait! I want it out now!!!
 
Good lord, another MI film?? I mean how times does Hollywood keep on remaking the same film without any character development or story creshendo....
 
I think if a film is made, then there should be a further 2!!!

I read it in SFX, and it said Marc Blucas will most likely be in it!!!
 
Oh I hope so, I really like Marc as an actor and to watch him from Season 4 to Season 5 you can see how good he is as an actor.....improving all through that time!

And I know no one really liked Riley but I did warm to him. He is no Angel, but he was developing into a real character........then he left. Oh well, we can't have it all, all the time. (Please no backlash, on other boards I get abuse by people that didn't like Riley, its just my opinion)
 
that's okay Buffster6. I liked Riley too! He was cute.

He is a good actor. He's been in other movies too. I think he was in a war movie (I don't remember what it was called, it was just very sad) and he was good. I think war movies would be hard to act in, because you have to really look like your dead.
 
YEAH!! Fellow Riley fans........I love this place!!!

I think that movie is called We Were Soliders and I actually haven't seen it yet. Me and war films dont get on very well............Its Platoon's fault, after watching that film I have been to scared to watch any others. I was an emotional wreck after that.
