Hi all
As has already been announced on the list, Mark (Groo) Lutz and Chris (X-Files' Agent Spender) will be in the country next weekend. They are spending the Saturday and Sunday in Birmingham at the Memorabilia Fair (held at the NEC - details at www.memorabilia.co.uk - neither of the guys is likely to be on their site yet as they have only just confirmed they will be there), and will be happy to meet people and sign autographs and chat.
It is a flying visit so neither of them will be able to go up to Scotland - sorry. But on their way back to the States they will be stopping over in London and have expressed interest in meeting some of the fans on more personal terms where they can be asked questions - so we intend to have them at Pages Bar on the Sunday evening from around 5pm to 9pm IF AND ONLY IF there is enough interest to make it worth their while (I know it is short notice, but if we are only going to have ten people there I'm not going to bother). So I need to have an idea of numbers. We will confirm the Pages' appearance by Thursday, or not, as the case may be. That's when I need to confirm it with the bar. So spread the word to friends who may not be on this list, and come back to me either here or in private email to let me know. And likewise please publicise the appearance at Memorabilia to anyone else you think might make it there instead.
As an additional incentive please remember that if the guys enjoy themselves and we cover costs okay, then we may see them back again soon - and Chris is good mates with several of the other X-Files people, so who knows who else he might convince to keep him company next time round? (no silly speculations about David or Gillian please).
