Has signed up for Season seven .... does this mean the master will return and be the seasons big bad or will we see some more Buffy flash backs... Marti noxon does like them period pieces 😀
 
Mark Metcalf might come back as a completely different character. I can't believe he was the same guy who played "Joe" in The Heavenly Kid!! I also heard he was in Animal House.
 
I agree. I said this in another thread, but Mark did play the Judge, so there's no doubt he could play another character.

But, more flashbacks would be cool, too! I love the costumes and hair, and don't forget the storylines. Whatever they have in store for next season, I just can't wait to find out!😀

That wasn't Mark... that was The Masters servant 'Luke' from Welcome To The Hellmouth and The Harvest... he played the Judge... Mark only ever played 'The Master' and I figure in all things Buffy... the most shocking would be The Master Returning.... He was one scary Vampy!
 
Oh my god, you're right! I'm getting faces mixed up with names! I need to go smack myself. For some reason I kept confusing that actor's face with Mark Metcalf. I think I'll go hide now...

Very interested to see The Master in his early days.
 
wow I would love flash back with the master they did say season 7 would be a return to Buffy roots ! A good old fight with the master is all buffy
 
i agree with u lot the Master returnin would defcinately return Buffy to the roots of the programme. I also cant wait 2 see what is going 2 happen 2 Willow.
 
She is going to be in England with Giles for the first few eps. He is going to help her control the magic that will always be inside her.

Yeah, I hope he comes back. He is a great actor. I was watching a Star Trek: Voyager rerun last night and he was in it. He makes a pretty good alien.
 
I never did like the Master, the first season was the worst one, and that was in part due to the extremely unscary Big Bad.
