This is from the "Watch With Kristin" section at E! Online:

Elliot in Sacramento: Have you heard anything good about the Grey's Anatomy spinoff?

And how. Studio insiders tells me the first hour of Private Practice’s pilot (which airs as a Grey’s episode in May) is close to completion and is so "fearlessly good" it’s the most likely of all ABC pilots to receive a pickup. Also, how's this for a juicy little casting tidbit: According to sources, Taye Diggs was originally supposed to play a recurring role on Ugly Betty, but then got offered a series-regular role on Private Practice and jumped ship. A few weeks on Betty...or the chance to become the new McHot Guy? I think he made the right choice, don’t you?

Glenn in Eugene, Oregon: Is Grey's going to suffer now that the spinoff is on the way? Will the writers be pulling double duty?

Grey's writer Mark Wilding tells me the spinoff would probably be staffing "new writers," rather than cannibalizing the Grey's staff. And great news for Buffy fans, it looks like former BTVS boss Marti Noxon has been tapped to run the spinoff.

I suppose that's cool, it gives me motivation to actually watch the show. Marti is awesome.

Did you see the two hour Grey' special last night?

'Grey's' spinoff previewed in two-hour special

We get a sneak preview this week of a possible spin-off in the works for Addison Shepherd (Kate Walsh), on a two-hour episode of "Grey's Anatomy."

The medical drama's special, titled "The Other Side of This Life," airs Thursday at 9 p.m. on CTV.

The all-star guest cast slated for the show and the possible spin-off includes Taye Diggs, Tim Daly, Paul Adelstein and Amy Brenneman.

In Thursday's episode Addison takes a road trip to Los Angeles in order to visit some old friends from medical schools.

I don't know. Didn't do much for me. I didn't like the LA thing much. This means it will most likely be a big hit.

Mm, I like Addison, but I didn't like the LA thing very much either. Seeing Chris Lowell there was sort of fun, but also very weird, hm, just can't see him as that hot guy.

Yeah very strange indeed to see Chris Lowell as that kind of guy. I don't know, I guess I would learn to like those storylines after watching for a while..
Good episode though,
I so knew the fake mom was gonna die though
, but yeah, still liked it.. Or at least parts of it, hm.
