2003 saw a few Marvel movies become a hit, which Marvel movies are being released this year???

Fantastic Four is set to be released in December 2004 and Spider Man 2 is set to be released 7 May 2004. There's plans for a Spider Man 3 but no release date for it.

I heard Daredevil 2, Electra and Hulk 2 were going to be released in 2005.

And X Men 3 is set to be released in 2006.

Fantastic Four should be pretty kickass...Flame On!!!

I think Spider Man 2 is the only one that's set in stone for 2004, though. Fantastic Four hasn't started shooting yet (or even had the roles cast) so its release date is still pretty fuild.

Of all the flicks you listed, Jules, the one I'm most psyched to see is X3...can't wait to see Jean Gray rise as the Phoenix!

There's also a more obscure Marvel title called Man-Thing that's slated for theatrical release in the United States on August 27th. It's sort of Marvel's take on the DC title Swamp Thing, but without those awesome Allan Moore story arcs (and no John Constantine).

I'm the same LazyDolphin, I can't wait for X3. I keep wondering if there going to bring her back as the Dark Phoenix. That would be great to watch.

I'm looking forward to Spider Man 2 aswell Shell. I've seen the trailer. Dr Octopus looks really good.

The Punisher is going to be released in the summer of 2004. That looks like it's going to be really good.

I heard their making 3 triologys and 3 stand alones.

So the X-Men series, Spiderman series. I thought Daredevil was a one off, along with Fantastic Four and Hulk. But you know what Hollywoods like.

the punisher is coming out this spring too...

and to jules: spider-man 2 is coming out july 2...

Mark Steven Johnson (the director of "Daredevil") recently signed on to write and direct the upcoming "GHOST RIDER", with Nicholas Cage in the starring role. The movie begins filming soon.
(But ugh, Nicholas Cage?? I mean, I like the guy, but couldn't they have given that to someone like say.......Colin Farrell?).

Also, the movie based on the Marvel character "IRON FIST" is slated for a 2006 release. The movie has RAY PARK in the title role. (He was Darth Maul in Episode One, and The Toad in X-MEN, for those that don't recognize the actor by name).

Is Superman marvel??? If it is that is in the works, but not sure if it will hit our screens in 2004.

Can't wait for X3 nor SP2, Octy looks amazing and Famke Jansen and Hugh Jackman are bangin'

The Hulk 2, Fantastic Four, DareDevil 2, Constantine, Electra, Man-Thing... very nice and all, but all more of that Hollywood pump-it-till-it-drowns crap, that I really don't care about.

Blade Trilogy is going to be the illest...cause the blade movies keep getting better....the blade series is the best comic book movie series....

You know I never realised that Blade was a Marvel character until I watched a cartoon episode of Spiderman and they were doing a cross over.

I know what you mean Allycat about them making too many Marvel films. When I was reading the spoilers for the Electra film I read about the possibility of a Wolverine spin-off. In the comics Electra and Wolverine do a cross-over and there was talk that if both films do well they might cross the films over. It might work well in a comic but I don't think it would work well in a film.

my friend was reading somewhere that Affleck hated how Daredevil came out and will only do number 2 if Kevin Smith pens the screenplay and Smith has already said he has no interest, though Affleck did say he would be interested in being Daredevil in the Elektra movie, cant say that I blame him, who wouldnt want to be in a movie with Jennifer Garner. Interestingly enough I cant stand Tobey McGuire as Spiderman and the guy who played Bruce Banner left a lot to be desired but Affleck is actually a pretty good Daredevil.
