Maybe one day she'll be dead and you'll be sorceress supreme... *possible spoilers*

No, you're right. It's just that they said they had been corresponding, and I assumed that the correspondence continued until Fred's death. That's just a guess though.

well, considering that willow wasn't even on this plane around the time fred had died...the correspondence maybe waned a little bit.

Seen a lot about how Buffy didn't get to know "St. Cordy" of S3, and how her remark was in bad taste because of that. Yet I seem to remember Cordy and Wes mocking Buffy in their "Buffy and Angel" show of S3 of Ats. Cordy never got to know Buffy in any season of Btvs or Ats and made some pretty distasteful comments back then. And we must remember Buffy thinks this is a dream, should a person be judged for what they are doing in a dream?

Well, one, I don't know about the others, but I was saying that Buffy's joke was more understandable since she didn't get to know St. Cordy (not the other way around).

Two, you can't really compare making fun of an angsty relationship with making fun of someone being raped and killed trying to protect the world.

I strongly prefer Buffy, but I'll still admit that her comment was very questionable.

Can see your first point.

But I do have a question. You said "someone being raped and killed trying to protect the world", I'm assuming you are speaking about Cordy. I can see where you might say that she was raped by Jasmine, but everytime Skip came to her, he gave her the choice. To became part demon and to become a "higher being". She wasn't giving well informed choices (and didn't know that Skip really working for Jasmine, not the powers) but choices never the less. And I don't remember her being killed to save the world. But all of that would be getting off on to another thread.

I as well strongly prefer Buffy, but didn't see the comment questionable.

Cordy's mind was raped, and then Jasmine forced her body to have sex with Connor who was pretty much Cordy's surrogate son--so raped psychologically and sexually.

Cordy was killed giving birth to Jasmine, her life force was drained. Skip said as much before Jasmine was born.

Well Cordy did make bad decisions, but Buffy made a few herself. Buffy's plan in Chosen was a bad one, if not for Angel and Wolfram & Hart, the First would have had a decisive victory.
