hey do you guys eat poutines in the UK? I know the US dosn't. Theyre delicious. You can get them anywhere here, A&W, KFC, Dairy Queen, Burger King, whatever.

The McFlurries though - nah. I used to work in McDonalds in my teenage years and now I avoid it as much as I can. 😛

I respect vegans and vegetarians alike for making a stand for something they believe in (if thats the reason they are vegan of course!). What I find with a high percentage of vegans and vegetarians though, is their lack of respect for me because I eat meat. Sarcastic responses arn't really surprising to 'McDonalds is evil' anyway. We all have our views, but thats all they are, no disrespect of your choice to go vegan.

I find many vegans/vegitarians really like to shove it in everyone's faces and look down upon the meat eaters from their oh so high petestols (not saying anyone here is like that, just a general observation). Even when I was a vegitarian I found this soooo annoying. Its like some people do it just to be able to look down on others and have 'animal rights cred'.
When I didn't eat meat the only people that knew were my family and close friends, and that was only because they were around and could see what I ate. I don't beleive in preaching to people who don't want to hear it.
(Again I want to make it very clear I'm not speaking to anyone on this board, or all vegans/vegitarians. Just the percentage that use it to make themselves feel cool and better than others. So dont get offended please.)

It makes me sad to hear your responses......disapointing, really. Perhaps, this isn't the place for such a dsicussion but... as a vegan I had to say something. I thought the boards were supposed to be a place of respect. Everyone has a right to their opinion, right or wrong. I choose to advocate openmindess, non-violence, compassion, love, and respect for all. Mcdonalds does not support a healthy world.

It had nothing to do with the subject at all.

You want to start a debate about McDonalds and the treatment of the animals that end up in its burger, thats absolutely fine, there are plenty of people here who will discuss that with you in a thread of its own, but this thread is absolutely not the place and its unfair of you to try and derail it.

This is a fun thread about ice cream, not a place for someone to get on a soapbox about something that is only peripherally related.

I'm a vegetarian and personally I couldn't give to hoots about meat eaters, eat meat,eat all the cows,sheep and pigs in the world. Its your choice, as long as i'm eating what I want I don't really care. I probably would have been a meat eater if my mum hadn't chosen to go vegetarian herself.

Although the lack of respect is on both sides.
Vegetarians and Vegans comments to meat eaters about evil cow eating and Meat eaters comments to vegetarians or vegans "you don't know what your missing" " its nature..you should eat meat" is some I get alot.

ps: I'm going to go buy a McFlurry now 😀 and a Greggs pastey then sit in the sun with Cider. Joy! 😀

Well I had the rolo Mcflurry's the other day, divine it was. And I have tried the creme egg one but did not like that one bit. The rolo one hit the spot for me 🙂

And I love the milkshakes which are just like a cup of ice-cream...mmmm chocolate shake mmm!!

McD's milkshakes are too thick for me. You can barely use a straw. I prefer the ones at A&W.

I haven't had McDonalds in years, it's always a sort of last resort for me but I think I remember them doing a McFlurry Caramel Bar...now THAT was just yummy😀

Continuing the ice cream theme, for lunch I made fresh baked cookies and them smeared ice-cream over the top while they were hot & it all melted in && yum.

Just thought I'd share 😛

Kristine and I had McFlurries today! Great in combination with an afternoon in the parc.

I also had a Happy Meal. I like those, too. But mainly because I never could have one when I was of Happy Meal age.
