McFlurry

I've never had a McFlurry. I hate Mcdonalds. They waste the equivalent of a million cows a year they throw away. Mcdonalds are wrong.

I'd say the milk they produce from cows to produce McFlurrys is pretty productive actually!

I wonder what people think of Microsoft and the excess electricity they have promoted with their 'personal computers' in every home? Maybe McDonalds is just an easy target because it's something so accessible to identify with. McDonalods arn't wrong, they're a logical result of the world we live in... where people need to eat... people would much rather live in a delusion where the world doesnt consist of 7 billion people and this isn't an issue. They waste cows... ok... cows that are bred to fulfull their existance of being human sustenance... unless you believe in the sacnticty of Bovine life...in which case we will have to agree to disagree and move on. How are we any different from the lion chasing the deer? If anything, we're more responsible!

Anyway, I agree with Al, i shouldn't even be responding in a thread like this dedicated to fun.

Do they make McFlurries with Skittles?
I like Skittles!

Hmmm, I have some Carte D'or Vanilla Ice Cream in the Freezer and some Skittles in the pantry - I might make my own!

Alrighty then, good ladies and gents.

We all appreciate that some peeps have strong opinions concerning the consumption of meat and/or the McDonald's/fast food franchises, etc.

You few folks who have stated such concerns in this thread have a right to voice such opinions, and as long as you keep it clean and civil, you are more than welcome to post on them in it's own thread.

But please keep the confectiony creaminess of THIS thread on it's track, and let's keep it fun, yeah? :: tu ::

Now...as I was saying about DQ's Blizzards........

**gets violently pelted by empty McFlurry cups......**

didnt realise we were this strict on keeping things on topic but whatever.
I don't know if they have these outside Australia, but we have these shops called Cold Rock Ice Creamery....and that is basically, pick a type of ice cream, pick what you want to have with it, and the mush it all up for you and put it in a cup. I used to love getting * slightly healthy warning* lemon sorbet with strawberries mashed in.

But they had everything from chocolate, to fruit to gummybears....very cool...although not great on a really really hot day because all the mashing tends to make it melt quicker, even if it has been done on a cold rock.

no way, here in the states we have a Coldstone..which is like cold rock, right?
^ We have a similar chain of shops here in the States known as "Cold Stone Creamery". Pretty expensive, but their ice cream is excellent.

Cold Stone!!! Karma due. ...Golden Spoon in a unrelated close second.

It just sounds more expensive because your guys are using a fancy word for "rock" ;)

lol i just gave her karma saying the same thing...guess i should read ahead!
In Germany, you can pretty much mix your own MFlurry right now. I'm very tempted to take a McFlurry with Daim, Smarties, caramel and chocolate sauce the next time I'm in Germany, but I guess that would be a bit overkill *sighs*

the mcdonalds toffee sundaes are the best,

That's a little too humongous a picture. Could you re-size it, please? :)

I disagree with the objections. When it comes to ice cream... the bigger the better.

LOL they are damn tasty!

OMG! I want some ice cream really bad now! 🙂

I am so jealous of you guys who get all these fun McFlurry's. We have two flavors: Oreo and M&M. There used to be Heath Bar, but that's been gone for a while. I remember when I worked at McDonald's I hated making the McFlurry's cuz it was really hard to make them. But now that I don't work there anymore, I love eating them sometimes. Although I typically get a hot fudge sundae if I'm gonna be getting ice cream.

mmmmmmmm i want icecream now too!
but it's a bit late for that, lol.

anybdy remember when Burger King had Cookies and cream icecream?
mmmmmm they stopped doing them though ;(

LOL

Speaking of fast food restaurants that stopped making ice cream.. What happened with the Subway ice cream thingies? Or is it only over here that they disappeared?

In the summer, Subway used to sell icecream over here. A bit like McFlurry, but completely different. We wanted to buy some today but it was gone, while last summer, they still had it.

Pizza hut did/do? those ice cream factory deals were you could get a bowl of plain ice cream and put as many sweets.sauce on it as you could and could go back and re-fill it as many times. Many times as a kid I got wayyyy to much 😀

same!
The weirdest McFlurry style ice-cream I've had was Apple Crumble Icecream. I think they literally took some ice-cream, some apple crumble, and a blender and hoped for the best.

It seemed a good idea when I bought it.

It wasn't.

McD's had a great Applie Pie shake a long time ago. I used to love that. But it's never come back, so I'm assuming I was probably the only one who ordered them1

I

pretty sure we never had those here
