My daughter makes banana bread all the time but sometimes she puts carob chips in it, but they tend to settle at the bottom.

Well I didn't buy eggs, I bought quiche instead. I'm using up the last of my new potatoes with a lemon garlic recipe and they'll do for today and tomorrow.

Im back on eggs big time. Cant get enough scrambled eggs! Steak and eggs this morning. Its gona be bacon and eggs later. Got some lamb sluvaki that I need to cook up too. Not sure if I will like it but I was willing to give it a go on special!

Its been a bit of a juggle dropping down to one bun. Anya doesn't need as much greens as Xander did. So this week I have far too much and need to figure out a balance that fits her and the delivery, because the delivery often only has one day before use by on it and it needs to cover 4 days of greens for her...

What sort of car do you drive @November, given the eggs you eat, I take it the petrol you use is from a shell garage.
No way! Shell is way out of the budget! I go to the indian run places that haven't figured out they can rort the fuel card yet 😉

I know that one November, the local place is 1.82 a litre but the nearest Shell garage is 2.02 a litre. The garage in Mundaring was 2.08.

Last of the free salmon today, got given 3 pieces and I've had it the last 2 nights, I can see why it was being given away as its the most tasteless salmon I've ever had, but free food is free food.

that poor fishy-wishy, it didn't stand a chance with John West. On the bright side it didn't have to worry about being cut up and put in little cans.
I need to use mushrooms up, so I'll either have mushroom pasta or curry. Whichever causes the least amount of washing up.

Curry you could probably do a one-pot dish. Pasta will probably require two.
I continue to fail at caramel slice. This time I even got ready made caramel from a tin and still stuffed it up! Its edible from the freezer but not severable to anyone else.

Breakfast tomorrow will have to be steak and eggs. I want to have broccoli and cottage cheese for lunch. Dinner is yet to be decided. I tried to get a third grocery delivery this week but slots were sold out. Might make more Vegemite and cheese scrolls for snacks.

I've taken chicken breasts out of the freezer, I'm sure there's a jar ir curry or sweet and sour sauce in the cupboard for them. I know I've got plenty of rice too.

I also have lots of onions to use up, so that's the next job, find a recipe to use up a bunch of onions.

Salmon today. Maybe with pasta and maybe some salmon broccoli and cheese bites. I was out and forgot about the grocery delivery so the salmon had started defrosting by the time I got home. Salmon it is!

Food delivery day today, so I'll meal plan when that arrives, but I'll have quiche and new potatoes this week and maybe do sausage and mash over the weekend.

I have discovered the gluten free pasta and bread do not give me heartburn or burning legs. This is actually a tragedy. Because they cost much more than normal bread! And it could be bad if I discover that I can tolerate gluten free cake... I can only avoid it so well because of the side effects!

I got given a dozen eggs by a neighbour so Im thinking quiche too. Got some bacon and mushrooms coming in an order tomorrow.

I bought some part baked rolls with the intention of making garlic bread, but I need to remember to get the garlic butter out of the freezer.

I took the fishcakes out of the freezer so I'm having those this weekend. However I've yet to decide on what to have with them.

I've not had pasta in ages so might do a tuna pasta bake type of thing next week. Also plan on making banana bread next week.

I made more strawberry and apple sorbet this morning. Ate half, the other half is in the freezer. Very yum! I had planned more but the grocery order coming today had a lot out of stock.

I have some mushrooms I need to use asap. Maybe pasta too. I still have some gluten free pasta left.

My neighbour has a lot of silverbeet, and I quite like it with garlic prawns, but I cant eat as much as he has! Any suggestions?

Mushroom sorbet? Semi-serious suggestion; it may work as a cold summer side-dish.
I had to look up silverbeet and it's just chard! I'd use it in place or spinach or kale.

I need to get the bananas out of the freezer to bake with tomorrow.
