Meeting Friends Online

Well, as long as you don't meet them in a dark alley or something I'm sure it's all fine. I've always met my online-friends at the train/bus station.. If they would've been creepy older men instead of girls in their 20s I would hopefully noticed 🙂 I have to problem with meeting online-people.. I have some of my best friends online, and I would love to meet all of them.. and also like all BB people 'cause they're all so friggin cool, ahah...
 
Unfortunately Cormafest fell through at this point in time...although I'm upset, I'm still confident Comma & I will be able to get it together at some point in time to have our weekend full of craziness...

hey, is anyone going to the Angel Con in May? (there's a thread in 'Buffy and Angel in the real world' forum.)
those of us who are going could all meet up and we could turn it into our mini BB con!!


is it just me or did that sound really lame?
 
People have talked me into seriously considering going to the Serenity 4 one in like November.. 'Cause I'll be back in the UK then and stuff, hmm... Never been to anything like that before though..

Oi i'm not that bad!

I have tonnes of online friends, the first one I met in the Buffy.com chat room and we went to a Buffy Con together and while there I met someone else in line for pictures, this was back in 1999, and i'm now moving in with her in London. Through here I was put onto BuffyUK and have met so many friends online, all of them are now in the London area (hence the moving).

From the boards I spent two awesome weeks in NYC with Buffy Summers and met up with Jacklyn and Cordelia, trouble was caused at the waxworks but we lived through it!!

Elmo is also another dear friend and the one friend in Scotland that I will miss the most as whenever we meet drunkness follows and we always have a giggle, be it in a pub or just in the house.

I've spoken to Epo, Ash and Frenchy on the phone as well as TFE (trying to forget that) and the lovely Sar and Andy.
 
I've never met anyone online...I doubt I ever would meet up with people. No offence to you guys lol. I like speaking to online people and having cool conversations, but meeting is something I wouldn't do.
 
I have never met anyone who I met online, but I would like too! After all we spend all this time chatting to people on forums and sort of get to know them, so why not just extend it into real life.
