Meeting the cast

Has anyone had the opportunity to sit down with any member of the Buffy/Angel cast and just have a long chat?

I sometimes think to myself how awesome it would be to just sit down and talk about the show with the people who were actually involved in it.

Also how cool would it be if you had a friendship with a cast member. Now i know no one on here probably does but does it ever cross your mind what it would be like to i don't know have a drink with James Marsters, go to the gym with SMG etc.

One of the reasons i love Buffy and Angel so much is because of the cast, hence why i'am a bit sad that i know i'll probably never get a chance to have a chat with them or build a friendship.

This might just sound weird to a lot of people but there you go. Anyone share these ideas?

I would absolutely love to meet the cast... tell them how much I appreciate their work.

I've always said that if I could only meet one cast member, I'd want it to be Xander. I know Nick has a lot of troubles in his life, but he has the kindest eyes I've ever seen, especially out of the entire group.

A part of me would just like to give him a big hug.

I've love to go drinking with David, he seems like such a fun guy in all his interviews!

Love to go to the gym with SMG, I'd say she is a killer in the gym!

I've spoken with James Marsters, Nick Brendon and Juliet Landau. And Georges Jeanty, who draws the comics.

James said he always preferred Spike as the bad guy, but he wouldn't pass up the opportunity to reprise the role of Spike, although he thinks he's getting too old now. Nicky mostly talked about his role on Criminal Minds, which he said he loved, and Juliet talked about her Take Flight movie and how she loved to work with James, and she never realized how tactile she and James were in their scenes until she played The First and couldn't touch him.

I've met a lot of the cast, but those are the only three main cast members I've ever been able to have more than a five second 'It's nice to meet you' 'Thanks for coming' chat with.

Jonathan Woodward did kidnap my sister once, but I have no idea what they talked about, lol.

I know what you mean. I'd love to sit down and chat about the show with some of the cast. But again, these are actors/actresses that just played characters, so after years, they have moved on. I doubt most of them see or like the characters as much as we fans do =P But i'd love to tell them how important these roles were for lots of us!

I'd really, really love to meet Nicholas Brendon. He seems like a really nice guy, and I still have a crush on him. Hee

But I don't mind who I meet. I never met someone famous before, so I'd be happy with anyone.
