We have a little community here on BB and I love it! I was wondering, do you feel as close to your BB friends as you to to your friends "in the wild"/real life? (little Goby phrase thrown in there 😛 )

Do you consider BB friends better friends than your real life friends?

There are a few people on here that I like as much as I like my real life friends, eg Seeing Red has been my sister from another mister for as long as I've been here.

I think it's weird how much this place can mirror real life, there's lots of different cliques that people probably don't even realise they're a part of, because I think it's human nature to categorise almost everything/everyone, so every member in here I relate to something with and think, "Oh, that's someone I really respect!" "Oh, they're new, they're like the exchange kid that everyone grows to love", "Oh, they've been here forever, but only made a few posts...they're like the apathetic (but still cool) kids", "Wow, this guys been here 2 months and made 43849384 posts? They're so enthusiastic!"

😀

love you babes :)
Not really. I don't really do the whole internet friend thing (apart from on Twitter) and I'm not a very social person generally either. I have a best friend and some friends I see a few times a year but that's it. Uni has made me extremely antisocial and has instilled a dislike for most people so I prefer to be alone for the most part.

My Twitter friends seem more like real friends than my actual friends do though. There's a couple of them that I speak to every day and sometimes they're the only people I actually talk to. It's nice having them to talk to when I'm at uni.

I wouldn't have said that there's huge cliques here though, compared to other sites I go on. It seems like a fairly inclusive place.

It is inclusive, I was just being flippant.
