Hey. How about we discuss any mentions of Buffy on other TV shows. Let's see how many TV shows have mentioned the name.

Well, the only one that I've caught was the famous 'Friends' episode where they made fun of Phoebe Buffey as being the "Vampire Layer". 😛
 
there's a ep on Charmed when Phoebe and Prue are walking through the Cemetery and Phoebe goes " where's Buffy when you need her?"
I think that's how it goes, i haven't seen that ep for awhile, lol 🙂
 
That would be the episode "The Power Of Two" on Charmed. I saw that one on TNT but hoping somebody else would post that tidbit. 😀

Thats not actually a Buffy the TV show reference, its actually one about the porn movie Buffy The Vampire Layer. Not that i've seen it (dont get the wrong idea) but Empire magazine had an article on porn movies based on the real movies.
 
In the last season of Auf wiedersian pet (sp?) one of the characters says something along the lines of "how can i be a good dad when all i wanna do is sh*g Buffy the vampire slayer?"
 
Don't know if anyone ever watched Tucker, but there was one episode where Seth does this snake-charmer-type-dance to make a snake go away, and then he says; "Learnt that when I was on Buffy." 🙂
 
I did, I remember that episode, it's the one where they were playing crazy golf.
 
On Will and Grace Jack was talking to someone and they said they were in TV and Jack's all like 'You in TV. Buffy is my life.' It was so funny.
 
And it was Phobe's sister, Ursula...don't you know she the one with the tatoo...Well, Graham Norton had a spoof of Buffy when he had ASH on...
 
Again, Jack from Will & Grace said:

On SPACED a fantastic british comedy (which you wont get if you think friends is intelligent comedy) the main character Tim is praying as the camera pans round you see its to a buffy poster,

also when Brian breaks up with his girlfriend twist (her parents were hippies) Tim informs him "she's like Cordilia from Buffy the vampire slayer and later Angel the spin off series based in LA" to which brian responds "i dont know what your talking about"
 
Only one I knew of was the Charmed one.

I do remember Buffy making a X-Files reference. She said something like.. "Don't go all Scully on me.".. She said it to Giles. I think. Wait, that's not really relevant huh? Well, I wanted to bring it up non-the-less. So, there! 😛 😉

BTW, anybody know what eppy that was?
 
Maybe you're referring to an Angel episode, called "Five by Five", where the blond detective chick was investigating the destruction left by Faith and her partner was wondering why she was believing the wacky stories. He said something about "you went all Scully", and she responded, "Scully's the skeptic. Mulder's the believer."
 
Maybe it was that episode. I can't really remember. I thought it was Buffy though. Although I could very well be wrong. Thanks for the help.
 
An X-Files reference in a BtVS episode is in The Pack,

Buffy: "I cannot believe that you, of all people, are trying to Scully me. There is something supernatural at work here."

You might have been thinking of that. 🙂
