Mentions of 'Buffy' on other shows

An X-Files reference in a BtVS episode is in The Pack,

Buffy: "I cannot believe that you, of all people, are trying to Scully me. There is something supernatural at work here."

You might have been thinking of that. 🙂

That's the one! Who did she say that to?

there's a ep on Charmed when Phoebe and Prue are walking through the Cemetery and Phoebe goes " where's Buffy when you need her?"
I think that's how it goes, i haven't seen that ep for awhile, lol 🙂

<snicker> I just saw that....pretty funny.....I just hadda tell ya'll, OK, it was more exciting 20 minutes ago, when I started looking for this thread. 😛

Kris, I missed that ep of Will and Grace! My friend told me about it and I had to tell her that I had missed it! They made a B/A reference and I didn't see it! NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! *goes off to cry*

I think, if you have Kazaa, you could probably download the episode. I just have to find the episode name for ya.

Looky, looky...I found a site that has a couple of B/A references from other shows. Here are the references (http://abwildhorses.homestead.com/bareferences.html) :

Guy: "I'd rather not relive the events of last night if you don't mind." (all sad)
Girl: "What happened? Did something happen to Tommy?"(all worried and such)
Guy: "Tommy? No, (all sad) last night on Buffy..."
Merton: "It's so true, Sarah Michelle will never be happy with anyone but Angel." (very sad) - Big Wolf on Campus

Evan: "Number 2: Buffy and Angel, season 3. Classic URST.
Gab: "URST?"
Evan: "Unresolved Sexual Tension." The Secret Life of Us

"Michael and I, on the other hand, are going to have a great love, just like Jane and Mr Rochester. Or Buffy and Angel. Or Brad and Jennifer." - The Princess Diaries: Mia goes Fourth by Meg Cabot. pub.2002

Here's one from Will & Grace:

"Oh for the love of Buffy and Angel - just say it!! "--Jack, from 'Will & Grace"

HASN'T THIS BEEN WRITEN BEFORE?

My husband says he actually saw "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" as an answer on "Wheel of Fortune".

English people, like me, should know the kids cartoon called 'Arthur' about an ardvark and his animal friends, (its better than it sounds!) anyway, Arthurs friend 'Muffy' dresses up in a cape and calls herself 'Muffy The Vampire Slayer' (i know what your thinking- a cape? Obviously she hasnt see the show! Lol)

in Bring It On, one of the east compton clovers says about torrence and missy "let me beat these buffy's down" or something like that. Bit ironic seing as Eliza Dushku plays Missy 🙂

Don't forget Clare Kramer (Glory) playing ... euhm ... looking it up ... Courtney!

There was a less than positive reference to Buffy in Six Feet Under.

I have no idea what episode or season it was but the daughter was on some kind of camping trip and she was talking to a guy about who would play who in their life stories.

The girl chose an actress to play another girl she didnt like and the guy replied with something like no way, she's too good. One of the girls from Buffy or Dawson's Creek would be more suitable.

I hope you could all follow that, my memory of the episode isn't crystal!

There were two episodes that made fun of Buffy the Vampire Slayer on MAD TV.

One in the early seasons, when it was like "Buffy the Baseball Player" or something like that.
Than another one last season with Ms Swan was Bunny the Vampire Slayer. And Tara was like to Willow?

"Where's Angel"
Willow responded "Monday night's after seventh heaven"

It was the episode where Michelle Trachnentberg guest starred (sp?) (dawn from buffy)

There was also a Buffy reference made in of the Roswell Books, "Loose Ends", if that counts.
