Merging: Tru Calling.Net & Buffy Boards

We have decided to merge Buffy Boards with the discussion forums over at Tru Calling.Net rather than just closing the boards. Only the Episode and character discussion threads will be moved over as we already have general discussion and games and the RPG's have already been moved off the board.

The new TC forum will take the place of the 'Why We Fight' Forum, which is no longer needed since the show has now been cancelled.

We are trying to merge the database's together so all the accounts, threads and posts will be moved over here but this is still being worked out so we can't give you a final answer on that one at the moment.

So keep an eye on this thread for any further updates and look out for more new and exciting changes to the boards soon 😉

I think that the idea is pretty good cuz is very sad when sites get closed🙁.
I guess I'll be able to talk about how much I love Harrison and won't look crazy😛. Cheers::dance::

Was wondering something,are TC members BB members?,cuz a welcome banner wouldn't make sence if I'm gnna welcome the ppl I talk to everyday lol😛

I'm having a very HUGE confusion... Is the url of the site www.tru-calling.net ?.Cuz I get a Harry Potter site,which btw is pretty cool,but I don't wanna be in Ravenclaw you bloody stupid site!.

trucalling.net no longer works, so the boards are reached via http://after-darkness.com

Probably at some point there will be new schemes (there will be the addition of the Tru Calling Schemes from the other board) but the initial focus will just be getting everything sorted. We do have 15 to choose from currently.

Some members are the same between the TC board and here, but there are obviously other non BB members as well.

David's Girl - you will not have to sign up again anywhere. The accounts from the other board will be added to the ones here.

Oh,what happens if I register there?.Will I have two accounts?. Will I have two post counts?,what if I join with a different name?,which name would I use here? :: hiding: Sorry for making so many questions😛
 
Now that you know that the boards are merging, common sence suggests that there would be no point for you to sign up there as you will already have a membership once those boards come here.

I am not exactly sure how double accounts are handled, though I know that they are handled by the import system somehow. I've not done this before, so I can't give specifics about it.

I was just thinking the exact same thing...I have an old TC account too..I think my name was redslayer there also...if it was, it might help you clean out if you delete my TC account and keep this one (and for anyone else who has duplicate accounts).

But after the merging I won't 'lose' one account,right?. Cuz I'd kinda miss a lot my BB account😛
