Has anyone else seen Merlin?
I love this new show and our old fav Giles awe bless him, although obviously A.Head is not giles but Uther PD but hey 🙂
 
See, I haven't been impressed.
I mean Head seems to be just playing by numbers (like he is so much better than the script is allowing him) and I dislike that there are TOO many cliches.

I will, however, give this until the end of the series to get better as I did with Robin Hood, which in my opinion got alot better over time.

I just don't like the token black girl (which would have been odd in Camelot) NOT because she is bad, but because you know they didn't hire her JUST because of her ability.
I do wish we lived in a time when I didn't think that.

I also hate how Quin and Merlin seem to be sparking and Arthur and Morgana are when we know it does the other way later on.

AND I get that it has to be a secret about Magic, but one of the reasons I liked Buffy was because it did away with that straight away and allowed a few people in.

Richard Wilson did a great Victor Meldrew in the first two episodes, I didn't understand the Evil Valiant in the second episode and I want to see more of Head at his best.

Ohh and they had Merlin take his top off - why?
He is a pasty boy with small tufts of hair on his chest, hardly something to swoon over, unless you like Emo rejects :0
