Merlin

I agree - its so good! its alot of fun! some of it is very tongue in cheek! But then there are episodes that are quite dark (esp in the last couple of series) BUt def worth watching - the relationship between Merlin and Arthur is so funny, plus Anthony Stewart Head is in it 🙂 And Morgana is v hot haaa all good reasons in my eyes!

I adore Merlin! I used to watch it together with my father, but I couldn't help myself and watched all the episodes on my own, because I couldn't wait ;P
 
Can someone explain to me whether I am right in thinking that there is some weird sexual tension between Morgana and Arthur, despite them being siblings?

Please don't give anything away regarding the story though, e.g. like "Yes you're right, they get it on in series 2" or something.

I watched this a little when it was on NBC (same show, right? I distinctly remember ASH in it being the hook for me). I thought it was canceled?

Just googled it, apparently it was on NBC. It might have been cancelled in the US but for us in the UK it's still going strong, series 4 finished at Christmas time.

It was on NBC when it first started, right? I remember enjoying it, and then it just not being on anymore. Kinda frustrating, if I recall, as I remember having just connected with the idea of Merlin and some villainess' chemistry together and wanting something to happen with them. Sorry if I've remembered a situation or ship incorrectly.

I'm not sure, not being American or having NBC and all :/ I'm pretty sure that it was on the BBC first, it being English, but I might be wrong.

I'm only on series 1, so I don't know what's happening really yet. If you want to watch the rest, I'll PM you the online link if you'd like, to watch the rest. Always worry that if I just post it onto the forum it'll get taken down for copyright or something.
 
Did anyone watch "Camelot" when it was on this year? It was cancelled after the first series. Arthur was dreadful in it but Eva Green was Morgana and she was great in it! If you have, which out of the two ("Merlin" or "Camelot") did you prefer?

oh and [MENTION=11317]castnoshadow[/MENTION] - do you like Gaius?? He is such a great character! Is relationship with Merlin is great!

[MENTION=5089]TheAnointedOne[/MENTION] I do like Gaius, but he hasn't been in it for a couple of episodes and I couldn't really say I missed him. I do like him though. I'm at this minute watching the finale of series 1, it's exciting!

I have such a girl crush on Morgana...haha.

I love Merlin. The character is great and he has such a good relationship with Arthur. Its good how they show Merlin saving the day on more than one occassion but he never gets any credit for it.

I'm glad its going to be back for another series. The cliff hanger that was just revealed was really good. I cant wait to see what happens.

The end made me interested but nothing more. In the good way. Might not totally understood the meaning (exactly how big it were/are) of what happened.

Currently watching The Fires of Idirsholas and the Knights of Medhir are absolutely terrifying. First time that MtS (Merlin the series 😛) has actually made me jump out of my seat!

as a dragon lord? I love the scenes where he speaks in the Dragon's tongue!!!

I still love Morgana even though

I'm on S3 episode 9, so not far off finishing. Merlin turned himself into
an old man
haha.

And the two parter was awesome yes! I loved it. Sometimes I love Uther and sometimes I really hate him. He's a total flawed character.

My boyfriend's brother's girlfriend (lol mouthful) was telling me about the
Dragon Lords
(without spoiling anything) and it sounded so stupid I just laughed the whole way through it, but seeing it on screen it's actually not so silly, and I love how they keep bringing it back up.
 
I've watched all of Merlin, including series 4, which is easy enough to find here in the states. I absolutely love the show. Everything about it is beautiful: the writing, the acting, the production values. I started watching it for Anthony Head (who saw that coming?) but really enjoy it overall.

It's a BBC show. In the states, the first season was on NBC, and subsequent seasons have been on SyFy. The fourth season just started here on SyFy this past Friday (but I've already seen it).
