I know it's still Christmas eve for most of us, but Google says Santa has left and is on his way!

Merry Christmas Nightshade!
Hope everyone has a good time.

PS There is an early delivery on Santa's sleigh, specially for those who want Humbugs.

Well, Christmas Eve are the big day here with all the presents and stuff so... Merry Christmas!! 🙂

/SK

Happy Last Day of Advent/Christmas Eve...and Merry Christmas tomorrow!!! We had a bit of a snowstorm yesterday, which was awesome. I was home from work, so I put on some Christmas tunes, made an egg nog and Captain, and the kids and I decorated the tree. Happy days. 🙂

I wasn't aware that it ever stopped snowing in Minnesota 😛

We actually hardly have any this year! We didn't get our first real snow until the second week in December. It has been very odd. And no temps below 0* yet, either!

Merry Christmas everyone! 😀

Does anyone else get presents for their pet? 'Cause my dog's got three of them to 'open' (translate: try to eat).

Toby the Border Collie got a bag of Pup-peroni which he ate completely as soon as he got it.

Oh, yes, all the dogs in our families buy each other presents.
I'm so thankful to not be at work until 5th January, God bless us Scots and our need to drink over Hogmanay.

Not my best Christmas, i'm allergic to cats and dogs (new thing over the last two years) and its getting worse. I have two cats who live with my Dad and he has the most adorable dog. Said adorable dog had my turkey as I came home Christmas morning unable to breathe. I spent the day sleeping and watching crime shows - a good thing for me. Resting up for the big Glasgow v Edinburgh derby on Sunday where I weill get Christmas round two with my Dad.

To be fair its all about new Sherlock on New Years Day!

Hope everyone has had a lovely day.

Probably the best explanation Hogmanay - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Traditions, we used to have first footing where your doors were open and you would greet your neighbours but times change. In Edinburgh we have a massive street party (just google Edinburgh Steet party, i've done it once but its about 15 mins from me so I tend to stay in and just watch the fireworks at the Castle). Scots, the adults, tend to prefer Hogmanay to Christmas as its more of a drinking holiday which is why we get extra time off at this time. My office doesn't start back until the 5th.
