By the Gods! I'm as green as Lorne with envy at some of those names.
A few musicians from little known bands really. And Amanda Palmer, who I know many people wouldn't consider THAT famous, if at all, but that was like the holy grail of meets for me

Deadwood alum! Skilled enough to play two different characters in successive seasons.

Why the Chloris Leachman 'oh god?'
You've clearly not watched this season's Dancing With The Stars lol (that's okay, I wouldn't have watched it either except that I wanted to see Chloris be crazy on national television.)

You hoser! Now I will have to watch.. she is dancing??? you cant be serious! I got the fit of giggles now..
PS- I thought NOT watching Dancing was a good thing!!

Well I've met a few famous people.

1, First and foremost is Eliza Dushku, Eliza was very nice and paid no attention to my nervous jabbering.

2, Lance Henriksen, Lance was very nice although I said very little to him, I seem to have an issue with being star struck. 🙂

3, The 3 the only Mick Foley, Mick Foley is a amazing man who has damaged his own body and shortened his own life to entertain wrestling fans all over the world, just so he felt like he had given people their moneys worth, take this as an example YouTube - UnderTaker VS. MankInd: Hell In The Cell.

Anyway Mick is a stand up guy and even signed my Dude Love figure, which is amazing as Mick hated being dude love, I wasn't star struck this time, I think it's because Mick Foley doesn't think of himself or ask people to treat him as a star.

4, Danny John-Jules, AKA 'The Cat' from Red Dwarf, I have meet Danny many times as he is always at a convention in my home town every year, he is a swell guy and very funny.

Ill post more as I meet them.xt

But um, Hanson (all three brothers, so worth the VIP pass, my teen fan!girl heart went all aflutter), Tina Arena, Ros and Chantelle from Women in Docs, Leyton Hewitt, Lisa McCune, Looweeze De'Ath, Ben from Silverchair, Judith Durham from The Seekers (heehe she was so awesome and tiny) and a bunch of the actors from Home&Away.

Hanson Karma! That is too funny!!!
Uhh, I talked to Julia Nunes live on Stickam one time. Does that count?

Famous people...I've met country music singer Chris LeDoux and I've also met two famous jockeys Jerry Bailey and Pat Day.

OK I've met Pink.... Yup

and I once bumped into Paris Hilton when she was in Copenhagen.
I was pretty rude(I can't stand her, even though i don't know her personally)

This actually happened:
Me "Oh, you..."

P "Yes?"

me "suck..."

I tell you... I love myself for saying it. She didn't like it though... Snob

Seriously? I might have to like, send you a gift!
I met Dick Johnson once. He was at my old work talking about road safety and stuff. Also met one of the Australian Idol finalists...but that's because her loser boyfriend was my local member for parliament (crappiest politician ever - I didn't vote for him, that's for sure!) and they were the opening for the construction job I was on.

Other than that, some random band guys from around here, that I don't really know other than checking out new gigs with a friend...but she's always so excited when we talk to them.

Well as some people on here already know, I have met a couple of bands. When I was a teenager I use to hang around at Channel V (aussie music station) at fox studios so I have met: The Living End, Foo Fighters, Garbage, Grinspoon, Queens of the Stone Age, Powderfinger and a few more.

I drove a taxi for a few years in my home City of Newcastle upon Tyne and I drove the late, great Jeremy Beadle from a restaurant back to his hotel. I've crossed paths with Jimmy Nail (he was scampering up a fire escape at the RVI Hospital to see his doctor), Rowan Atkinson and Sir Paul McCartney (I touched his foot at a concert).

I'd love to meet Nicole Kidman, Enya, our own Miss' Hannigan & Prinze (nee Gellar) and a whole shed load more.

Oh, Macca karma ^^
Can't say I've met anyone. But,seeing as how I work in an airport(in the commissary),you get to see a LOT of people.

So far,I've seen "Prison Break"'s William Fitchner(who's a local guy,BTW),former Buffalo Bills head coach and GM Marv Levy and Buffalo Sabres head coach Lindy Ruff(the latter of the three while the NHL was on the Olympics break 2 years ago while they were heading for a vacation).

Oh, I forgot about Georges Jeanty, the guy who draws the S8 comics. He and my sister talk a lot, actually, lol.

Re:

Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit. It really wasn't all that. He's kindof an a**.

I wouldn't say I've ever "met" any celebs....more like encountered. Not that hard to do in New York City.

Three of these brushes with celebrity ocurred back in 1988, when I had this temporary security guard gig in the Marriott Marqius Hotel here in NYC, working for the theater the hotel had on the second floor....which at the time was showing a play called "Me And My Girl".

One evening while I was on duty, Regis Philbin and his wife Joy walk up to me to ask for the proper entrance to the theater.

"How ya doin' kid? Is it this way to the theater?" He says to me. I answered in the affirmative, he pats my shoulder with a smile and an "Ok, great...thanks kid!", and off they went.

In that same hotel about three months later, I brushed past actress Lori Singer (formerly of the TV series "Fame" and the movies "Footloose" and "Warlock...) as I was getting off the elevator and she was getting on.

And former porn star Vanessa Del Rio ( the older gents of the Board MIGHT know who I'm talking about...😛) once asked me for directions to one of the hotels' restaurants.

Finally in the summer of 2002 in the TRIBECA section of Manhattan, I came across former "Dawson's Creek" star Michelle Williams and whom I presume was her boyfriend as they stood about five feet to my right while we all stood on a curb waiting to cross the street. This was about a block away from North Moore Street, where John Kennedy Jr. used to live.

I've met Summer Glau, Ron Glass, Jewel Staite, John Schneider (from Smallville), a few aussie celebrities you may never have heard of, Jimmy Barnes, Nikki Webster (unfortunately), anybody who watched the olympics may know Anna Meares or her sister Kerry who are both very good family friends, and the band The Living End who happen to be good friends with my mum.

When I was working at Belgium Beer Cafe I had to work my birthday night, so I was all hotted up with my hair just done, makeup, and wearing skinny jeans, leopard print singlet and high heeled FMB's. I finished work and Sebastian Bach from Skid Row came in for a drink, it was a Monday night so it was pretty dead so he started chatting me up, even asked me back to his hotel room. He was completely vile, he's old now, and it was my 19th, he had red wine stains all over his teeth and lips. Of course I left pretty quickly once he started using less than savory terms to try and chat me up.

I've met a few Everton players, the highlight being Tim Cahill when I was 18, I even got a kiss off him and it was on the channel 10 and channel 7 news. Meeting Duncan Ferguson when I 13 was pretty amazing as well as he's one of my all time heroes.

Earlier in the year I met Avenged Sevenfold who thought they were God's gift, I didn't like them at all.

Oh and another Belgium Beer Cafe experience was meeting Shannon Noll, who was all a completely tool. He had the dirtiest mouth on him I had ever heard, and he even ended up semi-hooking up with a girl that I sort of new who was 18 at the time. GROSS.

I've always been pretty nervous about meeting people I actually admire and respect. I once had a chance to meet Tim Rogers (who not many of you probably have ever heard of - but means a great deal to me) and I turned it down because I didn't want to be disappointed.
