Met anyone famous?

I've met Toby Keith when I was probably about 8, had class with Adrian Peterson (NFL player now), as well as some other fairly well known OU athletes, and seen Vince Gill when he was staying at the hotel I work at. That's about it though...

Oh and LOTS of AAA baseball players (minor league baseball for anyone not in the US), but they aren't all that famous. They just stay at my hotel.

We actually have quite a few famous people who stay there, but usually they either 1: stay in their tour bus the whole time or 2: use false names and the service elevator so they can hide from everyone
 
I was on the school council a couple of years ago and entered into a competition in the North East Derbyshire (UK) to go to Downing Street and 'have tea' with Cherie Blair (Tony Blair's wife. 😉 ) That was amazing, I also went to the Houses Of Parliament that day, we had a bite to eat there (which cost a lot!) and John Prescott was in the queue in front of me.

I also met McFly, in Southend, Essex, last October & have met and swum with Steve Parry, Olympic Bronze medalist. 🙂
 
I met the amazingly talented and wonderful Amanda Palmer again last night, and the equally talented and gorgeous Jason Webley. I know that a lot of people wouldn't class them as 'famous' but I love them a lot.
 
Some of the 'famous' people I've met are famous in their fields, but not really in general, so I'll provide wiki links. I met Atul Gawande, Paul Farmer, and Steve Bergman (aka Sam Shem) at the same conference at Brigham and Women's hospital in Boston, though I met Atul several times before and since, because he is my best friend Rachel's boss. Chuck Palahniuk (at Powell's books in Portland, OR). Henry Rollins, after a spoken word show in Anchorage, AK.

Dave Mustaine - I've somehow got inside of backstage and met him there, funny dude i must say

AND JIMMY BUFFETT! - my fav! - which is really the only one I truly care about anyway... 😉 He dedicated a song to me at a book signing in Atlanta. Just him, his guitar, & a few thousand fans... ~swoon~ Yup, I was in hebbun that day!
 
I met Shemar Moore from Criminal Minds, Paris Hilton's semi-famous publicist (what a creepy guy), a few reality stars from Big Brother US, and Natalie Zea from Dirty Sexy Money...that one wasn't pretty though, a friend I was with asked her for a pic, she said no, and he started calling her very obscene names before drunkenly running into a light pole.
