Just wondering what people thought of him, and his movies?

Do you think their good? Crappy? True? False? or Biased? I just found out there is going to be a sequel to Fahrenheit 9/11, 'Fahrenheit 9/11½'

Fahrenheit 9/11½ is an upcoming documentary film by the American film-maker Michael Moore, planned for release in 2007.

A sequel to his major 2004 documentary Fahrenheit 9/11, it is expected to continue the previous film's charges of covert links between the Bush, bin Laden families, the War on Terrorism and war in Iraq.

Sure, they're biased. I don't think they even try to pretend they're not.

They're not boring though, so I like em.

Yup - Mr Moore's films are well biased...doesn't stop me liking them, as my bias tends to lean that way. I still would like to see the South Park fellas Team America piss-take of Moore and other left-leaning celebs though...some of them do take things very seriously and seem to suffer from a sense of humour by-pass...
My fave Moore-genre documentary thingy of late was Morgan Spurlock's Supersize Me...that was one scary film for any of us who have ever eaten at Mickey D's

Funny how his sense of humour is inversely proportional to the amount of money he has...;)
Supersize Me was interesting. Although after watching it I craved a "Mickey D's". Weird!:silly:

Michael Moore's "documentaries"( and I use that term loosely) like fahrenheit 9/11 are usually enjoyable. Conspiracy theories in general are fun to explore when you have time to waste, though I think it's good to check out the debunkers sites too, just to get a clearer picture of the actual facts.

Knowing only one side of an argument tends to colour your judgement. 🙂

Heck, the most realistic thing that Michael Moore has done was Canadian Bacon and at least that had a FUNNY Fat Guy in the lead.

Having said that, if you view his 'documentaries' with as much believability as you would Terminator then you will probably have fun because he does know how to pick funny clips to entertain you.
I remember watching Fahrenheit 9/11 at the Cinema and nearly wetting myself at it laughing that hard.......funny as no one else was laughing - some people will believe anything!!

What I find interesting is his documentary made over $100 million in theatres and who knows how much in rental and dvd sales but I've never heard of any donations he made to any charity. He is not the kind of guy to make an anonymous donation.

Nope, self-promotion is his claim to fame...
Yeah, it's funny how he posits this elaborate conspiracy theory about 9/11 on one hand, then turns around and says Dubya is as dumb as a post, and is surrounded by people who are as dumb as posts...so, which is it? Is he a dumbass, or a Machiavellian genius? Or is he both...😉

^ What he said. 🙂

Really. Of course they are biased, they're not supposed to be otherwise, really. But I think this guy is hilarious, I love his sense of humour. He makes me laugh and cry for hours. So I like his movies, and I don't dislike him.
