Out of Season

It's hot-hot summertime in La-La Land, so what's Michelle Trachtenberg doing in cold-weather clothes at the Harry Potter premiere? And, more importantly, why did she pair shiny latex leggings with a brown top, gray sports jacket and a purple bag? Poor thing, the heat must really be affecting her judgment.

I don't think she looks bad at all? I dunno, I think that outfit's kind of cute...

And yes it's the middle of July...which means at midnight, when the sun is gone, it's colder? I usually wear a sweatshirt out at night in the summer.
 
How is what she's wearing any different from the men who attended the same function wearing suits or sport coats? If she came wearing a floor length (totally politically incorrect) mink coat, I could see where they could call it "winter clothes." I can't see anything in the picture to indicate the weight or type of material, but it could just as easily been light weight cotton as wool. The tights might be a bit uncomfortable, but they would probably howl even more if she came dressed like Paris hilton, in a short shirt and nothing underneath.

Fashion is more a matter of opinion than anything definite, and I'm certain that some other fashion "expert" would have raved about how well dressed she was.

(You might gather from the above that I hate so called fashion experts.
