This is in very early stages it's only got the go ahead for a script.

CW has handed out a script order to an untitled drama project starring Gossip Girl's Michelle Trachtenberg, which marks the actress' producing debut. It hails from the creators of CW's Gossip Girl, Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, whose Fake Empire banner co-produces the project with Warner Bros. TV and CBS TV Studios. Based on an idea by Trachtenberg, the drama would star the actress as a young criminology student with a gift for profiling and a dark past. Stuart Zicherman (Six Degrees) will write the script and executive produce alongside Schwartz, Savage and Len Goldstein. Trachtenberg will serve as producer. This is Fake Empire's second hourlong project this season toplined by a young actress from one of Schawrtz's other shows. Schwartz is writing Ghost Angeles, a supernatural romantic comedy starring The O.C. alumna Rachel Bilson, which received a pilot production commitment from NBC. Trachtenberg has been recurring on Gossip Girl for the past 2 years. She will next be seen in Kids in America.

Sounds a little like Veronica Mars, but it has a good creative team behind it, Schwartz has done good shows with Gossip Girl, The O.C. and Chuck
 
Thanks for posting! Can't say that I'll check it out if it's picked up, though. Characters with a "Dark past" is just so trite. 😛
 
you know ever since ive been on here ive noticed there's alot of dawn/michelle t. Haters. I don't why i like her. shes not an awful actress but that's my opinion i suppose. anyway thanks for the post. Its does sound a little like "veronica mars" but thats ok i loved that show and was so sad to see it go so soon. I will be checking this out when it airs 🙂 who knows maybe it'll be good. You cain't bash till you give it a try, thats how i think 🙂

Does sound a lot like Veronica Mars. But hey, that was a good show and if Michelle is starring in it I'll give it a shot! And the O.C was very well written.... till they used up their ideas too quickly. Could go either way, I suppose. Dawn was annoying as hell most of the time.... but Dawn isn't Michelle!:sluggish::dog:
 
My problem with Michelle is that I only saw her in Buffy and Gossip Girl and she played both time a character that really annoyed me (tough, I'm beginning to like Dawn). This will maybe be the occasion for me to see her in a role I'll like!
 
My main problem with Michelle and this going to sound awful and picky and petty... but not only do I hate the characters I've seen her play, but her voice makes me want to hurt something. It's like nails on a chalkboard. If I can't listen to anything you say without cringing... I'm probably not going to like you as an actor/actress.
 
Yeah she kind of has an irritating voice! Whenever my mum sees her on the screen she's like "Gosh I hate her face and her voice, bah, vade retro!"
 
I liked her in 'Mercy' so i'll watch this too and give it a chance. I think she's really changed, she's older anddddddddddddddddddddd...............

Not a fan of her but if it's successful I'd give it a go. I loved Veronica Mars but I think that had a lot to do with Kristen Bell.

Kristen Bell is awesome, but there are many other good actors/stuff in the show.
Oh I hope this show gets the go ahead. It would be awesome having someone from Buffy getting there own show, I like Michelle a lot. I like Josh too, and if we get this and the show featuring Rachel Bilson then I am so excited about things, tele is looking good, hahaha.
 
I don't mind Michelle, I liked her in Mercy, and her character in Gossip Girl was suposed to be annoying so she pulled that off.

Speaking of Mercy I caught a glimpse of that the other day. I had no idea what show that was and I was just leaving the room when Michelle popped onto the screen. I was like "heeey, I recognize that face!" It was a decent show.
Would be fun to see her in something new though as I'm supposing Mercy has been cancelled.
 
I might check it out because I love Michelle T! But I hope it's not like Veronica Mars, I'm probably going to be hated for saying this, but I don't really like Veronica Mars that much.
