Minaj v Jlo v Bieber!

I just listened to as much of that blasted Nicki Minaj song as my ears could take before I threw a chair through my computer screen. Really? You have a song where the chorus is nothing but you calling someone a "stupid ho" (which she spelled wrong. She's cursing a garden tool) and you call that music? It's like she didn't even try! Ugh. I just had to add to my last post. She's nothing but a gimmick and she'll be gone soon and no one will think of her in 5 years. *rolls eyes*

I need to go listen to good music and curl up in a ball now...

I do believe that taste in music is subjective but...even a fan of Minaj's has to admit that, that song (Stupid Hoe) is just insanely awful. I like a lot of music that one might consider mind numbing, (exhibit A):

However, it really does seem as if she didn't even try with that "song". At all. It makes me kind of sad when people say things like "modern day musicians suck!" Not all of them do, there are some absolutely fantastic musicians out there today...problem is, they're becoming increasingly hard to fine. I wish that people with actual talent were getting more attention than "artists" like Nicki Minaj.

(Although they do have haters as well) I bought their greatest hits CD, and I went through a dizzy spin of different music styles. They're so unique, that's why I love them. But your right, good music is still around, it's just getting so hard to find. At least back then, IMO, good music was still commercial. People call me indie, or a hipster, because I don't have the Billboard Top 40 on my ipod, which I find ridiculous. And I also would like to see people with actual talent getting a chance to shine, but unfortunately the music business is all about the "mighty dollar", so it doesn't matter if "Stupid Hoe" is probably the worst song ever recorded. If people are listening to it, the music companies wouldn't give a damn.

Haha I don't know one person in real life, besides myself, who has heard of Cibo Matto, let alone likes them...their loss 😉 and I agree with everything you said...back in the day, musicians with talent seemed to get more play.
 
I'll tell you who's worse than these 3. Drake. Drake is the worst rapper in the history of music. Words cant describe how fake and bad he is.

I have a "but" coming.....

But! (Heh,heh) There is some very good music out there that's electronically made. It's all on how you use that technology. I'm all for real instruments, but we have some awesome artists who use computers (Daft Punk, for example). 🙂
