Mind Control. Who Should Have It besides Dracula?

Hey everyone,

I just came up with this topic randomly, in the episoe Buffy vs. Dracula, it is mentioned a couple of times that Dracula can control mind.

- When Willow tells everyone
- When Spike tells Riley...etc.

Anyways, I think it would be cool if someone else had mind control. Who do you think...should have mind control.

I think Spike should...it would be really cool! He would use it sometimes, but not all the time, it would be awesome if Spike did!
 
Drusilla had the trance thing but not mind control. But like...somebody who doesn't have it, who's considered a scoobie.

Like...Spike, Angel, Xander, Willow, Riley, Buffy, Tara...it would make more sense if you picked a guy, since Dracula was a male.
 
I don't think it would work for Spike, becasue he has never showed any talents in things like that, But Willow, would work, although was that the power she was using in the ep near the end of season 7, on the cop?
 
I think so...maybe, I'm not sure. I do, however...think it would be cool if Spike had it...a vampire with mind control, and Spike! That's mint! Even though he hasn't show talents in there, it would be appealing and funny to watch.

Spike is a hero. Xander, on the otherhand, a comic relief; if he had a talent such as mind control, that would be fun. 🙂

But that would defeat the point of what makes Xander great. The point is that he does not have a power!
 
I was gonna vote for VisionGuy but I'm not on the list. I went with Xander because it would be funny if he had mind control but only for an episode or two. Like BEG said, Xander is supposed to be the regular Joe of the group. That's what makes him so great.
 
Xander... hes like the only normal person.... Giles is a watcher, faith and buffy are slayers, dawns a key. tara and willow are witches, angel and spike are vampires.. anya is a ex-demon... get what i am saying Xander has no talent... he needed something

Hm I have to disagree, one of the most awesome things about Xander was what he was capable of even though he didn't have any real powers. Saving the world in the end of s6 for example. I love that he's this ordinary guy with the biggest heart ever. Wouldn't have wanted him to have any super powers, think that would've made the show I tiny bit more lame to be honest..

Does Spike actually count as a Scoobie?
I don't know, I've never seen him as a Scoobie, more of an outside helper.

Ha, Xander with mind control. That's, like, Slayer orgy 24/7.
 
It looked to me like Spike was always on the outside of the gang, it seemed. He was kind of like a mercenary, or an outside contractor. Xander for one never liked him.

Drusilla's powers looked to be similar to The Master's-a kind of control through hypnotic persuasion. She certainly had no trouble disposing of Kendra. I thought her victory there was too easy.
 
i say xander should...he is already such a hero in his own way that with that power he would know what to do with it..the others have powers already plus if spike or angel go evil that would be a bad thing to have mind control.
 
This does all make sense I guess...for some reason now, I think it would be cool if Xander had it for only a couple of episodes or just one, like with "Earshot" and Buffy getting to read minds.

Anyways, if not Xander, I'd still say Spike but if not Spike or Xander, I think Riley needs it.
 
If Xander had it for only a couple of episodes, that would rock! Besides that, it would be terrible.

Now I'm beginning to think Riley or Angel should have it!
 
i think it would be entertaining if xander or spike had it, more so spike coz his not being able to bite people ( before chip removal and soul) would have been bloody funny, he would have tormented the hell out of xander nad guiles..... would have made great viewing.
 
why would u think riley would need mind control he already has lets say powers.. unlike xander who of course is the heart or the group and very important but since he is such a good person if he had mind control think of all the good things he could do.
