Mindwipe Question

I've been thinking about AtS lately and I'm considering giving season 5 a rewatch - I always liked it more than most due to the complete screwing up of the status quo and some real standout episodes.

I'm having trouble remembering how the mindwipe was handled in season 5 however. I know everyone's memories of Connor were erased (except Angel's and a few other characters like Cordy) but was it ever really established what the other members of the Fang Gang (Wes, Fred, Gunn, Lorne, Connor) remembered ?
They got fake memories, but were we ever told how these memories incorporated Wes's betrayal, since that was all about Connor, or Angel turning into Angelus, or Jasmine, or Cordelia's coma? Also, I know that after Wes broke the Orlon Window he and Illyria got their old memories back, but did we ever find out if people like Gunn and Lorne remembered as well?

I doubt Gunn or Lorne found out, because I think they would have acted differently around Angel and it would have been a big deal (I hope, but maybe they were too sad about Fred to care).

It was never mentioned exactly how the mindwipe happened. Maybe Angel erased almost everything and re-wrote season 4 AND 3, or only tried to only change smaller bits, like Connor, how Cordelia was possessed, Jasmine (or just who her parents were). Maybe he left the Wes/Lilah/Gunn/Fred thing almost intact. When Gunn and Wes talks about how Wes and Fred has gotten together, Gunn mentions something how Wes didn't care about Gunn's feelings regarding Fred last year, but he did so now.

But it didn't answer all of your questions. I don't know about the other. But from what I've seen in Origin, Wesley seemed to never knew about himself taking Connor, Angel was gonna kill him and he slept with Lilah.

About Cordelia, Wes seemed to remember that she was evil. I guess that has nothing to do with Connor. Maybe they just thought she got pregnant on her own or by some demon.

Yeah, I've pretty much always assumed that people remembered all the big events, like Wesley betraying everyone, and the Wes/Fred/Gunn love triangle, and fighting the Beast and Angelus and Jasmine, and Cordy winding up comatose except somehow the Connor factor was removed.

As for who gets there memories back, it doesn't really matter I guess. I've always assumed everybody does, but whatevs.

I hope they will get their memories back. I get that it's all in the past now, but I think what Angel did was a huge betrayal, to do that to people that trusted him. He had to save his son, but why mess with the others' minds? I think they deserve to know. But I'm not sure if that comic would sell very well.

It could be used as a plot device in a bigger arc (the villain restore Lorne's and Gunn's memories, making them distrust Angel when they need to stand together) but otherwise, I don't know how it would be entertaining.
