Minor issue (doesn't really affect functionality)

This is a pretty minor issue, but I wanted to let you know. The New Posts link that appears in the top navigation menu shows the correct count when I first hop onto the boards, but if I actually click on the New Posts link the New Posts count suddenly jumps to what appears to be a cumulative total of all new posts since the upgrade (or shortly thereafter). When I logged on this morning, it showed that I had 328 unread posts since I was last on. When I clicked on the New Posts (328) link, that number jumped to 2288.
 
Yep I am aware of this issue. I think it actually does it from the last time you cleared your cookies, or the upgrade whichever is sooner.

This weekend, or rather probably tomorrow, I am going to upload a clean set of files and re-add the hacks to see which is causing it. So I apologize, cause I know its annoying since its happening to me lol, but if you bear with me I hope to have it cleared up tomorrow. My roommate is going home tomorrow, so I won't have a long enough stretch of internet time at my disposal until then.

I don't know if this will help but I was getting the same thing with "New Posts" and my DST setting is "Automatically detect DST settings"
 
Mine too. I turned mine to no, cause I know it was screwing up post dates on another board I'm on, but that doesn't seem to have helped. Plus We are at the moment 8:21 pm EST, running clean unhacked files and it still seems to be doing it.

I'm seeing "()" after "new posts" at the moment (as well as no left side stuff) but I'm guessing that's cos of what you're doing
 
Okay, can you guys please let me know if you still have this problem? Cause I at the moment okay, but I still need to leave the site and come back and see what happens 🙂
 
It seems OK now but, as you do, I'll have to leave site and come back to see for sure.
 
The "New Posts" link seems to be working properly now Buffy
