- Especially since I for once managed to ditch my inner schoolgirl who keeps trying to be clever all the time and do whatever she thinks will please the people she holds in regard. That wallpaper was something I simply did to please me.

not just the font, the typeface, how the text overlaps, runs vertical, parts go behind the image etc.. the font was just okay, the typeface was very good

Thanks, Scobro. You're right - it doesn't matter all that much to me if the text is entirely readable. Anyone who actually want to read the poetry can easily go and google it. (Or bing it or whatever it is we do these days.) It's strange, though ... The second poem was what I had the clearest idea of what I wanted to do with, but it's also the finished piece I like the least. "Kill your darlings" is not bad advice ...

Thanks, folks, lovely posts to come home to after a hectic day. I showed my Mum something Buffy-ish I was working on yesterday, and she obviously just thought it was odd. Sometimes I still feel like an eleven year young little Miss Clever, desperate to please my elders.
