Miss Kitty Fantastico

I didn't see a thread about this, so...

I was talking to a friend of mine who is also obsessed with Buffy, and she told me that she heard that Dawn killed Miss Kitty Fantastico, or she died accidentally or something. Is it true? I don't remember ever hearing anything about Miss Kitty dying, but I could be mistaken. Anyone know?

In End of Days when Xander has taken Dawn out to the car to "kidnap" her Dawn says:

I don't leave crossbows around all willy-nilly. Not since that time with Miss Kitty Fantastico.

Altough she's not exactly what happened, I think you can get I good idea from that sentence. At that point it's been a while since you last saw Miss Kitty so you can't really tell when this happened either..

Also, wasn't it explained in one of the comics? I know they're not exactly canonical, but they sometimes do pick up on these kinds of lose threads.
