Gotta love mix tapes right? (or cds, playlists or whatever if you wanna be update but the expression "mix tape" is a classic so I'm sticking with it) Thought I'd make a game about it.

The first person (being me) states a "theme" for the mix tape, then the next person has to put the songs they would put on that tape and state a new theme.

You can have between 10 and 20 songs, depending on how many you want. Doesn't have to be songs you necessarily like, but what you think would be suitable and what works well together.

So to start off a simple and classic one;

Love/Romance

What?? Xander's thread has NO responses? Not on MY watch! Lol. In Raiden no one gets left behind, dagnabbit. 😛

Now...let's try this again.

Capice??! 😛

Erm... I'd start the love/romance one as a theme closer to Valentines Day... mostly cause people are more in the 'Im going to kill my partner for putting me in debt over Christmas' phase... what about songs with a New Year/New Start feel to them?

i'll do it then since no one else is 🙂 im not sure though, have i to put 10 songs then a different theme? or do 10 people put a song?

I'll assume ive to do 10 then 🙂

Here goes:

Josh Groban - when you say you love me
Sarah Maclauchlan - full of grace
cant remember who sang it but - feels like home (from dawsons creek and how to lose a guy in 10 days)
the calling - wherever you will go

hmmm, this is harder than i thought it would be.

i'd really just put all of josh grobans songs on it. i'll have to have a think. I need an easier theme

really not. all the songs i like are depressing in some way 🙂 see i like rock music. not much of that is happy or feel good 😀

I'd say theres feel good rock, upbeat stuff like Audioslave - Cochise, Strokes - Juicebox and others. Unless you like old school rock, I don't know much of that.

Maybe this game should die 😛

Nah I can definitely give you at least 10 feel good songs 😀 Or, like, songs that make me smile and stuff, so maybe funny songs but.. they do make me feel good..

Ok, random songs, not in a good album order though:

Everybody is Free to Wear Sunscreen "“ Baz Luhrman
Dum Diddly "“ Black Eyed Peas
Kidnap the Sandy Claws "“ Nightmare Before Christmas
Nobody's Wife "“ Anouk
Breathe "“ Blu Catrell ft. Sean Paul
Let Your Body Decide "“ The Ark
Freestyler "“ Bomfunk MC's

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun "“ Cyndi Lauper
Babylonsjukan "“ Helt Off
Wonderwall "“ Oasis
Dancin' Barefoot "“ Patti Smith
Plese Mr. Jailor "“ Wynona Sweet

(Money For Nothing "“ Darin 😀)

Ok next: Really depressing songs, eh..
